It is not uncommon for many Japanese couples to sleep in separate beds for small houses or apartments. Again it is not because of any kind of marital problem in them, they believe that it is good for them.
They conducted a study by an organization called Bright Side on why married couples in Japan prefer to sleep separately. The things they learned about them were the reason many of them liked it. Then look at the reasons -

Their sleep schedule is different

The first thing that makes Japanese couples decide to sleep separately is their different work plans. Perhaps a husband or a wife has to go to work early in the morning or to come back in the evening, only to wake up the person next to them or make sure that his or her sleep is not disturbed. This can lead to incomplete sleep for anyone. So they spent the night in separate rooms so that they could both sleep uninterrupted and healthy.

The children sleep with their mother

Japanese mothers sleep with their babies and this is considered very important, so the father has to decide whether to sleep in one bed or move to another room. Science has proved that a baby can sleep well with its mother. It helps the baby maintain a stable temperature and heart rate and at the same time reduces the risk of sudden infant death. Also, it helps the child gain better self-confidence, self-esteem quickly and do well in school.

For them, sleeping apart means peace

Although many couples who begin to live alone in our country may think that there is a breakdown in their relationship, the Japanese view it differently. They value their sleep very much and do not want to cause trouble while sleeping. This means they don’t want their partner’s snoring, a random sleeping position, throwing hands and feet, restlessness affecting each other’s sleep. Although many of them do not have the opportunity to sleep in separate rooms, they still want to be able to sleep with their beauty.
There is a history of couples sleeping separately

The small size of beds, cots or pillows in Japan suggests that they have a long history of sleeping alone. Even today there are families who still use this type of bedding, especially since it does not take up a lot of space and it is easy to keep at home.

So do you think you will sleep separately from your partner?

Do you think this kind of practice can be better for your relationship?
