We´re just finishing off our day and it was once again a beautiful day at the Algarve in Portugal.
Many years we were chasing after dreams that actually were not worth to chase them only to find out that it is the small things in life that make us happy.
Like waking up to a view like the one below this morning. I took this shot from our balcony after I woke up. Haven´t seen that much fog, or whatever it is, around here but heard about it. Absolutely breathtaking.
After that it was actually only the second time since we´re here that we had a morning walk at the beach. The water was still very calm and the air a bit fresh, perfect for a walk at the beach. I saw something in the water and could not believe my eyes as I picked it up. Haven´t found such a big shell in many years.
Makes a good ashtray...no just joking, this one gets a special place in our new apartment.
And one more thing we found on the way out of the beach. Haven´t seen one in real as far as I remember. The thing is, it was still alive and there were more of them. Do they survive the low tide until the water comes back?
Walking into the town of Lagos slowly becomes a routine. But there is still so so many things to see and everytime we go a different way and I find more of these little things that make me happy. Of course there is always some small streetart among these things. Like the one below from an artist called Guate Mao. I really like this one and I have one more from him further down.
Light is really special here in Portugal and I´ve heard that Lisbon is even better. The blue hour there must be amazing. But until we visit Lisbon we have to be content with such a view.
I finish this post off with a few more Graffitis of which I find that many here that I could post about it every day.
And again one more from Guate Mao. I think his style is very special and I hope to find more works of art by him.
