We all know that currently, Sri Lanka is facing the most critical economic crisis in its history. I was thinking to whom does this inflation affect more. To the people who live in rural areas or the people who live in urban areas. ? When cosidering the current situation, urban population is affected more as they totally depend on the market. They buy every day to day needs from the market. The situation is worse for them as there is a gas shortage in the country. There is no other alternative for them other than gas for cooking. Specially Colombo urban population live in apartments. But for rural areas, people usually use firewoods for cooking. And people from villages usually have large gardens with lot of essential needs such as coconut, jack fruit, vegetables and fruits. But urban crowd has to totally depend on their earnings. The issue is their income hasn't changed or increased but the cost of every item has increased more than 60%. So I think urbun population in Sri Lanka is mostly affected by this situation.

Thank you 🙂 @tomoyan
.In the countryside people can grow some food, that helps a lot to solve the economy, therefore I must say that it is a good idea to go live in the countryside and put the land to produce.
