Captured this Image during the mini version of the Thrissur Pooram in our family temple. The bigger version of the pooram usually have thirty elephants while the one in our temple we had just three. Anyway, The care takers of these elephants are called paapan in Malayalam. They usually carry a four feet long stick with them to tame these Big Beasts.
I saw the paapan of this particular elephant sitting under it and dreaming. I kind of knew the composition and went ahead with the shot. Now looking back at this image, I wonder if thought of the elephant peeing on him ever crossed his mind.
Splaaaaashhhhhh!
