imgur links work, so if you upload your photographs to imgur and paste the link to imgur with .jpg at the end of it, it will show on this site :)

Easiest thing to do is go to postimages.org, upload, then copy and paste link. It works.

Yes. Unfortunately there are problems with every frontend since weeks. But if https://blurt.world/ does not work, you can also try:
https://blurtter.com. This is an another frontend for Blurt.
For image uploads I use https://postimages.org/ . There you can copy and paste direct links into your blog.
