My husband recently moved to Saudi Arabia and he got the job there. This site is on his way to the office from his accommodation. Since we both are architects he always mentioned me about it and kept on sending it's pictures. After many attempts finally he got a good click from a moving car and shared it with me.
Middle East is known for its massive and marvelous construction and its major earnings are from the construction industry. This very structure is one of the examples of it.
This building is smartly designed with the attractive upside-down feel of the prism. As per the form they have articulately created the niches by taking the offsets to make it look more masculine and geometric. These ascending tears give the feel of growing upwards and the play of lines through its alternate ribbon windows and the complimenting color pallet adds extra value and interest to it. There is also a dome at the center but as the building is widening upwards it won't be visible from a closer view.
