In the US, Blurt gives me a tiny cushion to my regular income, but I can see in places like Venezuela or South Africa how people can make a living from it.

That "dollar" we earn, according to Blurt, can be worth much more in other countries.

That's what I thought, too. Then I asked a Nigerian friend of mine if Blurt is helping his people. He said not really, a dollar doesn't buy anything there, it's barely supplementary income.
I am one of the top 3 earners here on Blurt, and after 10 years of creating content for crypto, I have amassed a wallet worth $2500. That's less than $20 a month working full time. In Canada, that's enough to buy one loaf of bread and a few apples.
What we really need is for the price of BLURT to go up. Hopefully the coming crypto bull market is a good one.

$20 a month in Nigeria or Ghana though is half a minimum wage. Inflation has changed the buying power a lot but still half a minimum wage of someone is still something. If blurt were at even 3 cents again that changes the dynamic greatly. Every drop in the bucket helps.

Even the $2000 which my account is now I could buy a couple of acres of land here.

Unfortunately, $7 a month is a monthly wage in Venezuela for a university qualified. High inflation worsens things, and the banks can go bankrupt and not repay your investments.

When discussing how much a Blurt income can purchase in various parts of the world, what matters is the cost of living in those places, not the labour market. My Nigerian friend told me that even with support from Blurtbooster and various other curators, his Blurt income simply doesn't buy anywhere near what he needs. He would have to be doing 500 platforms like Blurt to make enough to pay the bills.

Yes, wouldn't BLURT at 0.03 USD be great? I would have 24000 USD in rewards after 10 years of full-time work and investment, which is $200 per month. Rent in Canada is $2000+ per month so I actually need the price to go up a LOT more than that, if I want to earn a living creating content.

Let's see if Blurt maintains 5 cents in the upcoming bull run. Mass adoption may come with microblogging like Twitter.

🥓 power

If blurt could eventually hit a $1 thousands of life's would be changed forever just like it mother Blockchain steemit too. But to hit that milestone great work would be done in advertising and visibility in getting more investor's to see reasons to invest in tye coins.

Hopefully these users you speak of don't follow your lead and become vote-buyers that degrade the platform.
