Examining your motivations by frequently asking “Why?” is essential. You may have a desire to give to another person, yet you must ask yourself why. Similarly, you may wish to assist someone, but you should question why. Why would you be willing to forgo a chance, and why do you want to fulfil a religious obligation? It's crucial to determine where your loyalty lies and what pushes you to do good deeds. If your motives are self-serving, then you need to re-evaluate and prioritize for eternal goals.

You may have intentions of utilizing faith and the congregation to advance your career, however, it is not in alignment with God's will to exploit Him for any purpose besides glorifying His name.
