Hello all Ladies..

The Karva Chauth is one of the biggest day in married women's life. The Festival is dedicated to the beautiful bond of marriage. It is observed on the fourth day after the full moon or Poornima in the month of Kartik according to the Hindu lunar calendar. It is celebration of marriage, love and bond between husband and wife.
The married women do fasting from pre-dawn till moonrise. The fast is one of the tough fast as even drinking water is not allowed.
Women adorn themselves in new clothes and perform Karwa Chauth puja for a happy and blissful marriage.

I am also performing the Karva Chauth pooja every year.
The preparation for the festival started few days before the main day. The use of Mehandi (Henna) to make design on hand and legs is also a tradition.

I got up around 4 AM in the morning and had the Sargi. Sargi is the food that's eaten by the woman who fasts through the day, after taking a bath in the early hours of the morning.
In the evening completed the pooja.
