من سن في الإسلام سنة حسنة, فله أجرها, وأجر من عمل بها بعده, من غير أن ينقص من أجورهم شيء, ومن سن في الإسلام سنة سيئة, كان عليه وزرها ووزر من عمل بها من بعده, من غير أن ينقص من أوزارهم شيء
"Whoever gives an example in Islam is a good example, then he will get the reward, and the reward of those who do it afterwards; without deducting anything from their merit. And whoever gives an example in Islam is a bad example, then he will bear his sins and the sins of those who do it after him, without diminishing anything from their sins. " (HR. Muslim)
