Even though we are developing into an intelligent species ee have some outright bad habits. We disfigure the walls at important public places, spit in the wall corners, throw garbage anywhere we like, and do so even when wr travel in a car. There must be awareness about the harm and ill effects of such traits. Just saw that someone made a ten rupee note into a hundred may be for fun and this is vile. Mutilation of government coins and notes is a crime and reduces the life of the currency. We need to develop civic sense and ensure that there is no harm or inconvenience to others. Schools must teach this and society must follow it up.
