Hey there every1, Good day.
Recently i cooked my husband's favorite meal and surprised him. He likes desert alot so i always try to make him special with different desert dishes. In this meal platter i made chicken tikka and masala papad in starters , than i made aachari chicken and zeera rice in main course. Rumali roti i ordered from outside, in desert i made sheer khuma. Sheer khurma is usually made in eid ul fitr. My mother in law taught me how to cook she was a humble lady, she always used to treat me like her own daughter
allah unko jannat nasib kare ameen. I still remember after my marriage on my 1st eid ul fitr on my husband's demand i made different deserts but i thought to make sheer khurma in the morning as everything was ready and went to sleep early morning as i was awake whole night but before i woke up my mother in law already prepared sheer khurma it was so yummy. As i didnot saw the process of making sheer khurma last year and also my mother in law passed away, next year on my 2nd eid ul fitr when i was making sheer khurma by mistake i added so many Saviya in it that it become saviya ka mitha not sheer khurma i immediately called my mom asked wats wrong in this she guided me aked me add more milk to loosen up saviya.

Looks yam! Even I was blessed with a very loving and caring mother-in-law who never let me prepare Shir Khurma in her lifetime. Though we used stay in different cities but I used to make sure I am celebrating my Eid with my inlaws despite of my husband's absence when he used to be abroad. She was very quick and fast in every thing and specially cooking. By the time I used to finish my fajar she used to be ready with the Sheer Khurma. I used to assist her later for cooking but could never keep up with her pace for sheer Khurma.
I think that belief is true. Good people die soon. May allah grant all the departed souls the highest place in Jannah. Ameen🤲
