Spirituality is all about raising awareness, raising consciousness, becoming mindful, developing understanding and becoming quiet to be able to hear the voice of our own higher-self or we can say the inner voice. I strongly believe that nature and spirituality are strongly connected to each other. Staying connected to our Ecological system is the basis of our foundation. The balance in life starts from our Root Chakra and the quality of our life deeply depends on how balanced the Root Chakra is. The balance of our Root Chakra depends on how well we are grounded, and our grounding is directly connected to our connection with our complete ecology system, mother Earth, nature.
If this is not in balance all our other Chakras also get impacted and this directly impacts our quality of life, and when there is discontentment in life it is difficult for one to be focused spiritually.
The experiences that our Environment gives us plays a big role in our self development. When we are more connected to Nature, we start looking at the details, the finer things of life. When I say finer things, it is not about luxuries, it is about the appreciation of little things in life. We bring awareness to our self. Nature has a very soothing and calming effect, the energy of it can help clear our own energies.
We see in stressful situations, if we spend a little time in nature, like by the sea side, or walking on grass or spending time with pets, we are able to release the stress and bring stability for our self.
I was not much into gardening before, but since the time I have started I see some changes within me also. To grow a plant you need to water it, nurture it, take care of it and if you do it with all your heart you will see the results in the form of a blooming plant. Likewise similarly if we do the same with our own self. If we treat our self and others with love and care, nurture our relationships, take care of them, the results will be in the form of harmonious relationship with self and others. A peaceful environment will be created in such situations. There will be acceptance, and Spirituality is all about this.
Spirituality is not about making connections with other worlds and seeing things, it is about connection with self, a complete acceptance of self, understanding and being in a state of calmness even when there is a turmoil outside.
I am no expert of advocating on this subject, but with my own experiences in my healing work, coming through all sorts of cases. I myself have learned that people who are calm and self nurturing are more connected to nature then the ones who are chaotic, who are more connected to heavy lifestyles. Also the stress levels of such people are high and they get into turmoil's very easily.
Nature has a direct impact on our life in bringing balance and stability, which helps raise our consciousness and enhance our spirituality. Hearing the sound of nature is the best music for ears, birds chirping, the sound of water, when we start focusing on all of this, we increase our Clairvoyance abilities. It helps develop focus, when we are able to slow down and bring focus we will also be able to hear our own inner-guidance which will always come for our highest good.
If we see, people living indigenous lives, they are so content with their life, they live in so much harmony, their quality of life is better, their psychic abilities are better, they live healthy, they live happily. Whereas we already know what is the state of Urban lives, full of stress, chaos, unhealthy options. Now that's the difference of Spiritual connection. The ones who are connected to nature are automatically spiritually attuned which shows in the quality of their life, compared to the ones who are disconnected from their ecology.
So this does not mean that people living in cities are not spiritually connected. It is more about connection with nature, our ecology system, which one can also develop living in crowded places.
