Delhi Metro Services To Remain Suspended On Friday

in blurtindia •  4 years ago

I was planning to visit the college tomorrow with some work but then i saw a news with the headline saying , " Delhi Metro Services to remain suspended on Friday from NCR ".

Well it has bothered me because I use metro for travelling purpose. Specially when it comes to college as it is cheap and I can easily afford travelling from a metro.

Well the reason behind this thing is that , there is a protest going by the Farmers and they are suppose to reach the place on friday i.e tomorrow.

The Protest or movement called , "Delhi Chalo" by AIKSCC ( All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee.

The Protest is against the law that was passed by recently in the parliament.
The law passed is Contentious farm law against which farmers are protesting.

Now I won't go in detail about the law but here is a small word on the same :

  1. Farmers are being told that this law will transform the current agriculture of India and also attract private investors.
  2. This law says that there will be an agreement on Price assurance and Farm Services act.

Now what are the fears faced by the farmers...?

Actually Bringing this law means farmers will be tied up with the contract by a private investor and they have to work for them producing crops according to them.

Second this and the main thing for which the protest is going on is that farmers are afraid that powerful investors will be binding them to contracts that won't favour but harm them.

There might be a huge T&C that will be simply not understandable by most of the farmers.

Anyways , I myself is against this law and think exactly the same.

Now for tomorrow I might be able to go to my college due to suspension of services of Delhi Metro.
