CHIDIYA TAPU , PORT BLAIR

I posted about Kaala Paani sometime back when i visited Port Blair with my family for a vacation.
Today I am sharing another beautiful location from the Port Blair known as Chidiya Tapu.

So why is the place called Chidiya Tapu...?
The reason was told to me by our driver who took us to the location. He told that during evening many birds flock around the area and this is the reason why it is called Chidiya Tapu.
Chidiya tapu is located at the southernmost tip of the port blair and it is approx 25 km away from the city.

Actually Chidiya Tapu was not included into our trip so we payed extra money to visit here.
The reason why we decided to visit there was because when me and my family were on the plane , there was a women on the plane who was pregnant.
When the flight landed , i helped her out to carry her luggage out of the airport. Then before saying goodbye to her she asked me ,"Are you here for the vacation...?".
I said yes me and my family are here for the location , then she told me that do visit Chidiya Tapu , it is really beautiful place.
She also asked me to visit the Abadeen Market and told that it was the biggest market in the Port Blair.

So when we visited the Tapu , i was really happy and sad at the same time. I was happy because of the beauty of the Tapu and sad as we were late and can only stay there for one hour.

If in future i visit there again , i will surely stay there for a longer time.
