This is a local train. These local trains divide us into two parts of West Bengal. On the one hand it runs through North 24 Parganas and on the other hand it runs through South 24 Parganas.
However, we have many more districts in West Bengal and the same goes through those places like Hooghly, Howrah, Sheoraphuli, Bajbaj etc. These again do not come to our North 24 Parganas or South 24 Parganas. Each district is divided and the drivers run the train that way.
However, there are many long-distance trains that run A-Z. Goes everywhere. Some long distance trains are going straight from Kolkata to New Delhi, some are going to Ahmedabad and some are going to Mumbai.
From this place these trains are going to different cities. However, these long-distance trains have to go to any city to become a village. These long-distance trains usually run on diesel because they have to pass through many places where there is no current.
But later, electricity will be provided everywhere and trains will be modified from diesel to current. It takes a long time to travel to distant places like Delhi, Mumbai etc. by long distance trains, but there is also the joy of traveling for a long time.
When the train passes over the green countryside, it is fun to peek through the gaps in the window and feel like traveling on the train all day. These trains have very large seats and all kinds of facilities are available in the trains.
But these local trains are crowded every day, because every day people come from different places to work in Kolkata city and then there are offices. As a result, everyone has to catch the train at the same time to reach the destination at the specified time.
Local trains run faster because they run on all electricity. The result can be retrieved to the destination in less time. Local trains start running from 3: 30-4: 00 in the morning and run till 12:30 at night.
Trains are running like this every day. One of the problems in local trains is that when the number of passengers is high, it is like a fight between the passengers to sit inside the compartment because the seats are very small compared to the number of passengers.
However, there are rows of seats for the disabled on the local train. However, there is a different kind of joy inside the train compartment, even if it is crowded, because different people get up in different places on the train, they discuss different things and then there are many people who also sing. As a result, there is a different kind of joy in the midst of suffering.
