Today I am gonna tell you about The Statue of unity which in India.
The Statue of Unity is by India's first Home Minister Vallabhbhai Patel.Which is located in the Indian state of Gujarat.
This monument is at Sadhu Bet Salt place 3.2 km away from Sardar Sarovar Dam which is an island on Narmada River.This place is located in Narmada near Bharuch in the Indian state of Gujarat.The ex- Chefminster Narendra Modi of Gujarat laid the foundation stone for the construction of this giant statue on the occasion of Sardar Patel's birthday on 31 October, 2013.
Iron man Sardar Patel, in whose memory this huge memorial has been built out of iron.
Materials that are used in it are steel mold, reinforced concrete, bronze coating.
The statue is 182 meters long.
31 October,2013 Initially the total cost of this project was raised by the Government of India to about 3,000 crores.Larsen & Trubo later bid the lowest 2,989 crowds in October 2014, including design, construction and maintenance.
The construction work started on 31 October 2013.
The construction of the statue ended in mid-October 2018.
It was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on the occasion of Sardar Patel's birthday on October 31, 2018.
To build this idol, the old and useless tools used in farming were collected from farmers living in villages of India.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust established 36 offices all over India for this purpose,
With which the target was to raise iron from about 5 lakh farmers.
The campaign was named Statue of Unity campaign.
