Assalamu alaikum how are you all I hope everyone is well I am also very good in your prayers I want to share some of the Black Bengal goats with you today because most of us people in Bangladesh keep these Black Bengal goats because we keep these Black Bengal goats Some of the things I can earn are highlighted.
Although poultry and fish production has increased rapidly in the country in line with the growing population, the production of livestock, especially goats, has not increased as expected due to lack of technical knowledge. About 93 per cent of the 20 million goats in the country are reared by small and medium scale farmers. But keeping goats in cattle is not as profitable and easy as others. There are breeds of goats such as Angora, Barbari, Beetle, Jamunapari, Surati, Marwari, Malbari, Gaddi, Kashmiri, Pashmina, Sanen, Tugenberg, Orpine, Mohsana, Fiji, Anglo. Among these, Bangladesh's Black Bengal is the best in the world. The meat of these Black Bengal goats is as delicious as the skin and is recognized internationally as high quality. Moreover, Black Bengal goats have high calving capacity and are particularly suitable for production in indigenous climates. Black Bengal goat is mainly recognized in the world as a meat and leather producing breed. That is why we can be very proud to say that Black Bengal is our goat breed. Their average weight is 15-20 kg. Sometimes up to 30-32 kg. Daily weight gain rate 20-40 grams daily. A landless or marginal farmer can earn extra income by raising goats in a certain way. There is also evidence that Black Bengal has achieved many unexpected successes by rearing goats. So for small, medium or large farms, raising Black Bengal goats is a definite profitable activity.
Black Bengal goat is found in West Bengal, Assam and other states of India besides Bangladesh. There are two types of small and large in size. Therefore, the weight of older male and female goats is different. Their necks and backs are almost equal in height. Chest wide. The legs are small. There are goats and goat horns. The horns can be small or medium in size. The length is 5-10 cm. The horns are curved backwards from the top. Ear size is small and medium slightly above. Body shape is tight. Skin color is usually black. However, gray can be white or brown. The fur is short and smooth. Produces multiple babies twice a year and simultaneously. However, milk production capacity is relatively low. Female goats become fertile at the age of 9-10 months and give birth to their first offspring at the age of 14-15 months. It can be said that Black Bengal is the best for meat. But for milk, Jamunapari, Barbari is good. Gaddi and angora are good for fur.
