Western Jackdaw is mostly found in Balakot valley. I usually do birding in Islamabad but Jackdaw was on my wish list. When I planned a day trip to Naran, I was excited to explore the Balakot valley and photograph this beauty. I saw these birds far away when I crossed the valley but because of shortage of time could not Photograph them. I planned to stay and find these birds while coming back.
On my Wayback to Islamabad, I saw some jackdaw sitting on a high tree. I just stopped and tried to find some vantage point to photograph these birds. I climbed up a house's roof near those trees and just succeeded to photograph some close shots. I stopped at a hotel for lunch and was very surprised to see these birds near me. They were Foraging on the ground and were also drinking water. So these photographs of beauty made my day.
