Hello Felines and Hoomans of Blurtopia!

Hope this Sunday finds everyone doing well and enjoying what's left of their weekend!

It was a somewhat lazy day around the Curator Cat household, today. I started my day off with some birdwatching from the upstairs window by the kitchen:

The Hoomans have a birdfeeder out on the deck, and these days we have lots of migratory birds flying through here. There's also a rowanberry tree next to the deck, and lots of birds were flailing around on the branches, trying to get the last of this season's berries.

After that, I did what any good cat likes to do: Have a well-deserved nap!

Thankfully, my cat perch is right by the window, so I can just go directly to sleep when I get bored!

However, it wasn't long before the Mom-Hooman came into the room — which also doubles as a "crafts room" — to work on a project. That involved working with the iron and ironing board... needless to say, I went to go give her some "help!"

I like sleeping on the ironing board, too... it gets nice and warm after it has been used.

My slumber was interrupted by the sound of the can opener... dinnertime...

And thus goes a pampered cat's life!
