Horses are just like humans, they grow their nails as well. That is why they needed some trims every so often. But in the wild their normal walk and runs over the terrains where they live is just enough for their feet to strike against the sands, stones, rocks, and other debris for their toes to get a needed natural trim.

But this Pony is different, it haven't gotten any trim for its toes because it was kept indoors where it could not walk normally and wander around which is why its toe nails remained untrimmed and its fur to get so long too.

One day they decided that it needed a make-over so they just hacked the excessive toe nail to trim it. They also shaved its long fur and gave the Pony a good amount of washing and draped over some clothes so that it can be protected from cold and such so that it can grow another set of new fur as it natural protection.

It is a happy Pony nevertheless and a few years later it is not sort of neglected anymore and lives in a farm where the owners are constantly taking care of it maybe as a pet since Ponies like these are not bread for work or races.
