This is a story of Wylon the dog who had suffered an trauma in his spinal chord and because of that he had lost the use of both his two hind legs. His legs now are useless nad that just gave him a burden of added weight and drag about his effort to walk or run and made his mobility a big problem to do.
That had been so devastating for the dog because even though he had been fitted with a wheel to aid his mobility that didn't helped because he couldn't possibly drag a very heavy weight for the remainder of his paralyzed body part.
The veterinarians that cared for his condition had to decide about what to do for his mobility problem so they decided to cut both of his hind legs. They are expecting some good changes about Wylon's life after the surgery and that decision in removing his burden had paid-off well, now Wylon can even run and it was all great.
After that drastic decision he is now like a normal dog, can walk and even run and is now happier as if he is a normal dog that can enjoy life as it was before. Maybe Wylon can never mate because of his condition but I guess that it would be better for Wylon to be like this in his new state since he can never recover from his paralyzed condition.
I do think that dogs with paralysis issues should also get such amazing surgery to take off their two hind legs only if it affects their mobility problems because Wylon is the perfect example for that which gives a different kind of perspective for other pets that have the same issues so that they can live their lives happy and normal like before.
