I have this community tank in one of my rooms and I have my arowana and tinfoils living in harmony. This is my favorite of all my setup. They've been with me for years and I hope to have them for so many more years. I spend my idle time with them just watching them swim or feeding them and cleaning the water.
I used to have more fish in this tank but these are the survivors. For some reason, some pets really go sick and die no matter how you take care of them. Some also are too agressive to be with others and they fight and hurt each other. Some recover from their wounds but some really die.
I can say that these few are the really tough guys because they have endured sharing this tank with the rest. I too, it is a challenge to make sure I feed them on time and the right amount so they do not have to fight. It's really fun, after all these years, I seem to understand them now.
