My Monday ULOG: A Visit To The Swans ~ Nature Photography Digitally Filtered

in blurtimals •  4 years ago

Today I had to go visit my Accountant with my last year's "Tax Returns", as it has to be submitted electronically by the end of January. She always gets annoyed with me for leaving it so close to the Deadline, but that's just me! Leave everything till I absolutely have to do it...😂

Anyway, on the way back home I passed through the park to visit the lake in the middle of surrounding woodland. A most beautiful Nature spot where many people go to feed the ducks and Swans.

Back in the Summer there were many Swan babies born (Cygnets as they are called). They are easy to distinguish simply because they are not yet completely white. More of a Black and White feathered mixture really, but still beautiful in my opinion.

You can clearly see the black feathers in the photos. Very soon many of the Swans will fly away to a new lake, otherwise there are just too many competing for food on the same lake.

After taking a couple of Photo shots, I decided to use some "special effect" filters. See what you think...🤔

Maybe you prefer the original, which is Okay with me. I just enjoy playing around with unusual Digital filtering.
