Hey everyone! Happy weekend. Here I would like to share a photo of a butterfly as my contribution to #FascinatingInsects.
It is a tawny coster butterfly with the scientific name Acraea terpsicore belonging to the Nymphalidae family. The tawny coster is a butterfly species commonly found in Asia.
It was great to be able to take pictures when it was flapping its wings in slow motion. I can see very well how the patterns form on the wings. You can imagine it is like you are looking at a beautiful canvas painting.
