I am coming up with some pics of dragonfly that I recently photographed with DSLR. Actually, I often spotted this kind of dragonfly flying over the grass, and sometimes it made a quick stop. As we all know, the dragonfly is one of the oldest winged insects on earth and it is included as the expert fliers. Dragonflies can fly straight up and down, hover like a helicopter in the air. If they are not capable of doing that, they will starve because dragonflies only eat prey they catch while flying. Dragonfly belongs to the order Odonata, infraorder Anisoptera and they can usually be found around the shrub, bushes, grassland, and wetlands.

Thanks again
Glad to hear that @hafiz34. Thank for taking time with my post
Interesting post and beautiful shots. I have often seen dragonflies and did not think much about it. Now I see dragonflies with different eyes.
Thank a lot @jeenger. It's all about macro stuff that allow us to see the detail look of the insect and feel blessed for having them around.
