BLURT : NO WINNERS NO LOSERS

This write up features two stories I wanna share namely;
Blurt hospital project : acquired structure undergoing Roofing, toilet building ready for roofing ; and a call for peace on blurt on all sides .

HOSPITAL UPDATE:

The hopes and dreams of a vulnerable people is gradually becoming a reality. Today , we push further as we begin the roofing of the abandoned structure within the hospital land .
The toilets are completed . I did the last block 😂

  A CALL FOR PEACE

Blurt: No Winners, No Losers!

Its really excruciating Blurt is gradually sliding backwards from it’s foundation. The foundation of love, unity, peace, tolerance, forbearance, selfless service to humanity and an accommodating spirit. For us, it is an enterprise of self-development, inter-cultural inclusiveness, complementarity and mutual understanding. For the past few weeks, blurt has allowed internal conflict to set in, blurt has allowed individuals differences to shelter our collective efforts. If blurt doesn’t speak out, she will continue to languish in this preventable conflict. Never was it in the nature of blurt to be mute and blindfolded to to the pain’s melted out on her. And for this reason, blurt shall continue to implore reason so our differences will be put aside.

Oftentimes, facing conflict head-on is the last thing we want to do. We’d rather bury our head in the sand, avoid the person who caused us pain, or try to pretend the offense did not occur. Oftentimes we avoid the conflict, or the person entirely, convincing ourselves that in doing so we are maintaining peace. But God calls us to initiate the process of reconciliation. If there is conflict in blurt, “go to your brother”. God’s call for us is to be a peacemaker, even if we feel we have done nothing wrong or the other person’s offense is the greater of the two

Experiencing conflict affects our daily rhythms and routines. This can even cause us to doubt God’s goodness, His will for our lives, or His love for us. And that’s why, Man’s fall from grace in the garden of Eden continues to affect our everyday relationship. We are all sinners whose hearts have tendencies toward self-serving motivations and selfish pride. When we approach our differences by turning our gaze inward, inspecting our emotional responses, checking them against God’s word, repenting of our short comings, and preparing our hearts for a humble posture towards our adversary.

So, inasmuch as everyone experiences conflict and has a choice about whether or not to resolve it effectively. When it’s resolved, it leads to many benefits, such as accomplishing goals which is our our number one priority at blurt, and strengthening relationships. But conflict can also be damaging, if handled ineffectively, it can turn into personal dislike, and even lead to a breakdown of relationships as we are experiencing the moment.

Sometimes two believers need outside help to resolve conflict between them. Emotions can run high and resentment and hurt may have settled in, clouding objectivity. Thankfully, part of the blessing of living in Christian community is that we are surrounded by others whose wise counsel and unbiased hearts can be called on to assist should the need arise. No winners no losers .

If we gain each other over , we have won all . We won’t have winners , we won’t have losers ! We have all gained .
We have all expressed ourselves in our ways . We rest to default settings.
