Stafford fue escogido como la 1ra selección del draft en el año 2009 por los Detroit Lions, un equipo que le daría la confianza desde el comienzo hacer titular y llevar el timón del grupo. Sin duda alguna Matthew Stafford demostró su gran poder de brazo, una potencia enorme para buscar receptores en cualquier lugar del terreno, pero también resultaba efectivo en buenos momentos y aunque tenia algunos errores el talento de este jugador siempre estuvo presente.

Without a doubt Matthew Stafford showed his great arm power, a huge power to find receivers anywhere on the field, but he was also effective in good moments and although he had some mistakes the talent of this player was always present.

Matthew Stafford en Detroit Lions sufrió muchas derrotas, solo un año por allá en el 2014 tuvo algo interesante cuando estaba Calvin Johnson con Golden Tate de receptores, lograron entrar a playoffs pero no avanzaron mucho y alguna intercepción de Stafford fue crucial para que no pudieran conseguir la victoria.

A pesar de todo eso las temporadas de Stafford estaban solidas a nivel ofensivo, pero el equipo no acompañaba su rendimiento, entonces tras tener algunas perdidas las criticas rondaban mas que todo por sus intercepciones, pero nadie hablaba de las cantidades de Yardas por aire que conseguía y todos los Touchdown que estaba consiguiendo.

Despite all that Stafford's seasons were solid offensively, but the team did not match his performance, then after having some losses the criticism was mostly about his interceptions, but nobody talked about the amount of yards through the air he was getting and all the touchdowns he was getting.

Todo esto hizo que Matthew Stafford no fuera un nombre que sonara mucho en la liga, sencillamente estaba subestimado por tantos fanáticos y reporteros que no le daban el crédito que se merecía. De mi parte siempre pude notar el gran talento de Stafford, mi pensar era que debía salir de Detroit para conseguir una franquicia con mejor equipo que le ayudara a conseguir un mejor rendimiento aun que se transformara en victorias y ahora en el equipo de los Rams estamos viendo eso.

All of this meant that Matthew Stafford was not a big name in the league, he was simply underrated by so many fans and reporters who did not give him the credit he deserved. From my side I could always notice Stafford's great talent, my thinking was that he should leave Detroit to get a franchise with better equipment that would help him get a better performance even that would turn into wins and now on the Rams team we are seeing that.

Mathew Stafford logro llevar a los Rams hacia el Super Bowl que se va estar disputando este domingo, un Quaterback del cual pocos se hablaba, un QB que estaba totalmente subestimado a podido callar bocas de todos sus críticos y ahora se encuentra a tan solo una victoria para conseguir el tan preciado anillo por el cual luchan todos. Después de esta temporada estoy seguro que ya no van a estar viendo mas a Stafford de la misma forma, empezaran a respetarlo y podrán comprender que este hombre tiene mucho talento con un brazo digno de los mejores.

Mathew Stafford managed to lead the Rams to the Super Bowl that will be played this Sunday, a quarterback that few people talked about, a QB that was totally underestimated has been able to shut the mouths of all his critics and now he is just one win away to get the precious ring that everyone is fighting for. After this season I am sure that they will no longer be seeing Stafford in the same way, they will begin to respect him and will understand that this man has a lot of talent with an arm worthy of the best.

En estos playoffs se vieron a un Stafford muy decidido, logro ganarle a Tom Brady que venia de quedar campeón, además que estaba haciendo un comeback en ese partido, pero Stafford tuvo el temple para llevar su equipo a la victoria, luego estuvo perdiendo 10 puntos en el ultimo cuarto contra 49ers y termino ganando su encuentro también. Esas actuaciones son dignas de recordar por que son momentos decisivos donde los grandes Quaterback solucionan el problema y justamente eso fue lo que hizo este grandioso jugador que ahora tendrá la gran chance de darle un campeonato a los Rams.

In these playoffs we saw a very determined Stafford, he was able to beat Tom Brady who was coming from being champion, besides he was making a comeback in that game, but Stafford had the mettle to lead his team to victory, then he was losing 10 points in the last quarter against 49ers and ended up winning his game as well. Those performances are worth remembering because they are decisive moments where the great quarterbacks solve the problem and that is exactly what this great player did and now he will have a great chance to give the Rams a championship.

No quiero apresurarme a la acciones, pero veo a unos Rams muy fuertes, veo a un Matthew Stafford en su mejor momento en cuanto a toma de decisiones, así que para muchos pueden ser los grandes favoritos para ganar el super tazón y de lograr eso va ser en gran parte por el gran Quaterback que es Matthew Stafford. Solo necesitaba salir de la franquicia perdedora que era Detroit, dedico muchos años de su carrera allá, pero jamás le armaron un equipo competitivo y todos sus registros se iban con récord negativo, ahora aquí en los Rams teniendo un gran equipo para competir contra quien sea, los resultados hablan por si solos y ahora hemos visto lo mejor de Stafford que en su momento fue subestimado por muchos.
