Covington vs Masvidal UFC [ESP-ENG]

Esta semana se va estar dando el combate para mi mas esperado del año, estas dos personas tienen un pasado muy interesante, porque ellos 2 fueron grandes amigos e incluso llegaron a vivir juntos en todo el proceso de su preparación en las MMA, pero sucedieron muchos altercados entre ellos 2 que los colocaron como enemigos y ahora actualmente se odian con mucha fuerza. Este combate será el estelar del UFC #272 para el día sábado y quiero empezar hablar sobre algunas cosas que veo sobre esta lucha que para mi será muy interesante de ver.

Jorge Masvidal es un peleador que basa su lucha en el Striking, sinceramente el tiene buen boxeo y se puede decir que es su punto fuerte por el cual logra dominar a los rivales. Masvidal comenzó su camino de las MMA peleando en las calles, luego de todo eso ingreso al UFC y se volvió muy famoso cuando derroto con un rodillazo a Ben Askren en tan solo 14 segundo de manera espectacular. Queria comentar un poco sobre esto para las personas que no conozcan de este buen peleador y ahora si vamos hablar sobre sus alternativas frente a Colby Covington.

Jorge Masvidal is a fighter who bases his fight on Striking, sincerely he has good boxing and it can be said that it is his strong point by which he manages to dominate his opponents. Masvidal began his MMA journey fighting in the streets, after all that he entered the UFC and became very famous when he defeated Ben Askren with a knee in just 14 seconds in a spectacular way. Masvidal seguramente sea la persona que mas conozca a Colby Covington en cuanto a lucha, estuve entrenando junto a el durante mucho tiempo, haciendo sparring entre ambos y manteniendo una gran convivencia. Eso es un aspecto muy importante en este combate que sin dudas Masvidal debe explotar, ya que puede tomar ese conocimiento para encontrar los puntos débiles de Covington y así poder buscar la pelea. Para mi tendrá que mantener la lucha arriba, no puede dejar que Colby lo derribe, tiene que mantener el Striking en todo momento porque es lo mejor que el tiene y buscar lastimar mucho con patadas a las piernas de Colby haciendo que no se pueda mover tanto.

Masvidal is probably the person who knows Colby Covington the most in terms of fighting, I was training with him for a long time, sparring between the two and maintaining a great coexistence. Si Jorge Masvidal le quita la movilidad a Colby, va poder tener mas el centro del octágono, que espero yo que sea agresivo yendo al frente buscando dominar en el striking como estuve diciendo anteriormente, así para mi seria la única forma de que puedo ver opciones de ganar a un Masvidal, porque todos están dándole la pelea a Colby, pero siento que va ser mas cerrada de los que todos piensan y de mucho espectáculo por parte de los dos. Desde hoy le estaré dando un 40% de posibilidades a Masvidal de ganar este combate, recordando que hoy es lunes, todavía falta ver como llegan al pesaje del viernes, eso también da mucho para analizar, pero al día de hoy ese es el porcentaje que yo le doy, aunque deseo que gane porque es cubano y como latino siempre mostrare mi apoyo.

Covington es un luchador del cual no le agrada mucho a los fanáticos, tiene una manera de buscar llamar la atención muy pesada, todos los peleadores siempre intentan vender la pelea de una forma que impacte para que haya mas publico y mas dinero pero Colby Covington lleva las cosas al extremo. Actualmente es el numero 1# de la categoría de peso Welter por debajo de Kamaru Usman que el campeón, pues a pesar de todas sus controversias este peleador es sumamente talentoso y se puede decir que uno de los mejores que tiene esta división ahora mismo.

Covington is a fighter that fans don't like very much, he has a very heavy attention seeking way of getting attention, all fighters always try to sell the fight in a way that makes an impact to get more audience and more money but Colby Covington takes things to the extreme. He is currently ranked number 1# in the Welterweight division below Kamaru Usman who is the champion, for all his controversies this fighter is extremely talented and arguably one of the best this division has right now.

Colby Covington es el gran favorito para ganar este combate, claramente tiene mas herramientas que su adversario(Masvidal), ya que Colby puede lucha muy bien en el grappling que seria la lucha en el suelo, pero también tiene un buen Striking que lo demostró frente a Kamaru Usman en su ultima pelea, por lo cual le da una ventaja en contra de su rival y para el tambien sirve la ventaja de poder conocerlo a la perfección por todos los años que estuvieron entrenado juntos. Para mi Colby si desea ganar la lucha con mayor comodidad debe buscar el derribo, si consiga derribar a su rival tendrá toda la ventaja porque el es mucho mejor en esa faceta y a parte va cansar a Masvidal y todo eso influirá para luego ganar puntos con el striking.

Colby Covington is the big favorite to win this fight, he clearly has more tools than his opponent (Masvidal), as Colby can fight very well in grappling that would be the fight on the ground, but also has a good Striking that he demonstrated against Kamaru Usman in his last fight, which gives him an advantage against his opponent and for him also serves the advantage of knowing him perfectly for all the years they were trained together. Los dos vienen de una derrota pero Masvidal viene de un KO impresionante, mientras que Colby viene de hacer una gran lucha frente al campeón donde la definición estuvo cerrada, así que Colby es un gran peleador con muchas habilidades para ganar este combate, al día de hoy le estoy dando un 60% de posibilidades para ganar este combate y ojala me equivoque porque deseo que gane Masvidal. Colby es un peleador mucho mas completo, creo que su estrategia será dominar con el grappling e incluso buscar una finalización en el suelo y así poder ganar el combate estelar de la noche del sábado.

They both come from a loss but Masvidal comes from an impressive KO, while Colby comes from making a great fight against the champion where the definition was close, so Colby is a great fighter with many skills to win this fight, as of today I am giving him a 60% chance to win this fight and I hope I'm wrong because I want Masvidal to win.
