Every morning you'd see them in the city- doubles vendors.

The doubles is made with bara (which is basically fried dough) and curried channa. To some, it is known as a chick peas sandwich. It's a local delicacy that was created here by the descendants of East Indian indentured labourers, and it is believed to be inspired by the Indian dish chole bhature.
