Recently I went shopping at a little market that is near my house and I was surprised that they had a new merchandise, it was a sweet that reminded me a lot of one that I used to eat every day at school when I was a child, a sweet that is like a kind sour flavored powder that comes with a gummy although the one I ate when I was a child didn't have a gum but a lollipop. I tried to look for a photo of the version that I ate in my childhood but honestly I don't remember the name well, I searched for it on Google in different ways I tried several names but I couldn't remember what it was called, the truth is that if they are from Venezuela to remember it best, in the package came the drawing of a magician.

Hace poco fui a hacer compras a un mercadito que queda cerca de mi casa y me sorprendió que tenían una nueva mercancía, era una golosina que me recordó mucho a una que solía comer diariamente en el colegio cuando era niña un dulce que es como una especie de polvo sabor ácido que viene con una gomita aunque el que yo comía cuando era niña no tenía una goma sino una paleta. Intenté buscar una foto de la versión que yo comía en mi niñez pero honestamente no recuerdo bien el nombre, lo busqué por Google de diferentes maneras probé con varios nombres pero no logré acordarme de como se llamaba, lo cierto es que si son de Venezuela a lo mejor la recuerden, en el paquete venía el dibujo de un mago.

Apart from that powder that was eaten with a lollipop, I have very vivid memories of other sweets, for example the giant chewing gum, the gummies in different shapes, the chewing gum that had a fake tattoo inside the package and a host of varieties, I even think that in Currently, at least here where I live, there are not so many different sweets.

Aparte de ese polvo que se comía con paleta, tengo un recuerdo muy vivido de otros dulce por ejemplo los chicles gigantes, las gomitas de diferentes formas, los chicle que traían un tatuaje falso dentro del empaque y un sin de variedades, incluso creo que en la actualidad al menos aquí donde yo vivo no existe tanta cantidad de golosinas diferentes.

Another of the memories that I also revived thanks to that treat, was when I used to buy sweets during recess when I was at school. I remember that we went to a place at school that he called "the forest" that was like in the back of the institution, I remember that it was surrounded by trees, many giant and ancient trees, right there every afternoon a lady would sell all kinds of sweets, I also sold stickers that by the way I came to have a giant collection of stickers of all the figures that they can imagine.

Otro de los recuerdos que también reviví gracias a esa golosina, fue de cuando compraba dulces durante el receso cuando estaba en la escuelita recuerdo que íbamos a un lugar de la escuela al que llamaba "el bosque" que estaba como en la parte trasera de la institución, recuerdo que estaba rodeado de árboles muchísimas árboles gigantes y antiguos, justo ahí todas las tardes se ponía una señora a vender dulces de todo tipo, también vendí calcomanías que por cierto yo llegue a tener una colección gigante de calcomanías de todas las figuras que se puedan imaginar.

Anyway, I think we all have good memories of school, but perhaps the most vivid ones are those we spend at recess with classmates or enjoying sweets, especially Venezuelans who always sell all kinds of delicious food here outside of school. En fin, creo que todos tenemos buenos recuerdos de la escuela pero quizás los más vividos son los que pasamos en el receso con compañeros o disfrutando de golosinas, en especial los Venezolanos que aquí siempre fuera de las escuelas suelen vender todo tipo de comestibles deliciosos.
