Hello everyone!
Here I make a comic book style digital portrait of Geralt of Rivia, aka "The Witcher", played by Henry Cavill.
I first got to know the character through Dark Horse comics and was excited when I found out that he would be played by Henry Cavill, the last Superman to this date.
I got the idea to do this portrait after watching an episode (I think it's number 3 of the third season) where Geralt of Rivia tries to go unnoticed under a huge hood. I associated the habit along with the character a bit as if he were a jedi or sith and that's how the idea came about.
(When I think about it, one of Geralt of Rivia's spells, "Aard", pushes his opponents or obstacles away by bringing his hand forward, a bit like when a jedi uses the Force).
I used a photoshop brush that imitates an analog one, then another soft one to tone it down a bit, trying to give it the look of a comic book, using lines for contrasts and shading.

Aquí realizo un retrato digital estilo cómic de Geralt of Rivia, alias "The Witcher", interpretado por Henry Cavill.
Empecé a conocer al personaje a través de los cómics de la editorial Dark Horse y me entusiasmé cuando me enteré que lo interpretaría Henry Cavill, el último Superman hasta la fecha.
Se me ocurrió hacer este retrato después de ver un episodio (creo que es el número 3 de la tercera temporada) donde Geralt of Rivia intenta pasar desaparcibido debajo de una inmensa capucha. Asocié el hábito junto al personaje un poco como si se tratara de un jedi o sith y así surgió la idea.
(Cuando lo pienso, uno de los hechizos de Geralt of Rivia, "Aard", empuja a sus oponentes u obstáculos adelantando su mano, un poco como cuando un jedi usa la Fuerza).
Utilicé un pincel de photoshop que imita uno analógico, luego otro suave para matizarlo un poco, intentando darle la impronta de un cómic, utilizando líneas para los contrastes y sombreados.

A more elaborate linear shading appears on the features as well as on the shadows of the hood:

Here is the final result, where the shades of gray appear, along with tiny white details and softening to emphasize the contrast between light and shadows:
