Esta es apenas mi segunda publicación en Blurt, la primera si se excluye la presentación, y quiero distanciar un poco la temática que abordaré con mis contenidos en esta red, de los temas que suelo desarrollar en otras plataformas, siempre que sean de interés para mí. En este caso aprovecho que está sucediendo una situación de extrema relevancia en materia de política internacional, para comentar al respecto, ya que hasta hace un par de días me parecía que estaba ocurriendo algo similar a lo mostrado en la película “No mires arriba”, ya que una gran parte de la sociedad prestaba mayor atención, a la pareja de turno del reguetonero Anuel AA, que a la posible invasión militar de Ucrania por parte de Rusia. Pero, desde ayer que inició la invasión, esa noticia ha copado la atención de los medios de comunicación y también de gran parte del público.
Sin embargo, creo que muchas personas solo consumen este tipo de información por el morbo de ver las atrocidades de la guerra, pero no hay plena conciencia del tema y las implicaciones que pudiera representar a futuro para la humanidad, además pienso que la gente ve ese tipo de cosas (hablo de Venezuela y seguramente el resto de Latinoamérica), como algo ajeno que no tiene nada que ver con nosotros. Por lo tanto, sin ser un experto en materia geopolítica ni nada por el estilo, aunque si me gusta bastante este tipo de análisis, traigo el tema a esta red social, donde creo que debe tener cabida este tipo de información, aun cuando no corresponda a algo bonito y con sentido positivista, intentando así involucrar a nuestra comunidad en un debate tan relevante como este.
Hace un mes publiqué en la blockchain de Hive un artículo en el que expuse mi opinión sobre el conflicto entre Ucrania y Rusia, en ese momento dije que a mi parecer Rusia está clara en que sus acciones militares no tendrían una respuesta militar equivalente por parte de la Organización del Tratado del Atlántico Norte (OTAN), más bien sabe que la mayor consecuencia a una invasión de Ucrania será una nueva oleada de sanciones económicas. Ayer eso se ha vuelto una realidad, el gobierno de Vladímir Putin luego de haber asegurado que no pretendía atacar a su pequeño vecino europeo y haber apelado a todo tipo de excusas para justificar su movimiento de tropas, dio el paso y ejecutó bombardeos al territorio ucraniano, no solo en el área del Donbass, correspondiente a las autoproclamadas repúblicas populares de Donetsk y Lugansk, a las cuales el Kremlin reconoció recientemente, sino a todo el país; más allá de eso, el presidente ruso ha hecho un llamado a los militares ucranianos para que depongan las armas y dejen de obedecer al gobierno de Volodímir Zelenski, lo que sugiere su intención de derrocar la democracia de ese país, que posiblemente pronto se concrete.

In this case, I take advantage of the fact that a situation of extreme relevance in international politics is taking place, to comment on it, since until a couple of days ago it seemed to me that something similar to what was shown in the movie "Don't look up" was happening. since a large part of society paid more attention to the partner of reggaeton Anuel AA, than to the possible military invasion of Ukraine by Russia. But, since yesterday that the invasion began, this news has captured the attention of the media and also of a large part of the public.
However, I think that many people only consume this type of information for the curiosity of seeing the atrocities of war, but there is not full awareness of the subject and the implications that it could represent in the future for humanity, I also think that people see that kind of things (I'm talking about Venezuela and surely the rest of Latin America), like something foreign that has nothing to do with us. Therefore, without being an expert in geopolitical matters or anything like that, although I quite like this type of analysis, I bring the subject to this social network, where I believe that this type of information should have a place, even when it does not correspond to something beautiful and with a positivist sense, thus trying to involve our community in a debate as relevant as this one.
A month ago I published an article on the Hive blockchain in which I presented my opinion on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, at that time I said that in my opinion Russia is clear that its military actions would not have an equivalent military response from Russia. the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), rather knows that the biggest consequence of an invasion of Ukraine will be a new wave of economic sanctions. Yesterday that has become a reality, the government of Vladimir Putin after having assured that it did not intend to attack its small European neighbor and having appealed to all kinds of excuses to justify its movement of troops, took the step and carried out bombings on Ukrainian territory , not only in the Donbass area, corresponding to the self-proclaimed people's republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, which the Kremlin recently recognized, but throughout the country; Beyond that, the Russian president has called on the Ukrainian military to lay down their arms and stop obeying the government of Volodymyr Zelensky, which suggests his intention to overthrow the democracy of that country, which may soon be completed.

Por supuesto que con apenas un día de iniciada esta incursión armada, es muy temprano aun para saber si los países de la Alianza Atlántica, van a involucrarse militarmente en el conflicto o no, ya que las operaciones vélicas de tal magnitud y trascendencia, no son algo que se anuncie demasiado, además son muchos los factores que pueden influir para que cambie el curso de los acontecimientos. Sin embargo, en mi modesta opinión, todo parece indicar que Europa por temor a desatar un conflicto de proporciones incalculables en su propio territorio, no va a hacer más que imponer sanciones económicas, pero no va a involucrarse en una ofensiva militar que hipotéticamente pudiera proponer EEUU, ya que Ucrania no forma parte de la organización y aunque pueda sonar feo, su reducida importancia no compensa el enorme riesgo que significaría enfrentarse a Rusia.
Todo esto lo sabe Putin muy bien desde hace mucho tiempo, por lo tanto, es lógico que haya estado planeando esta invasión y preparándose al menos desde 2014 para sobrellevar esas sanciones económicas que le serán impuestas al país eslavo a causa de semejante violación de la soberanía ucraniana. En consecuencia, las sanciones pudieran no solo ser ineficientes en su objetivo de evitar la anexión de Ucrania al territorio ruso o la sustitución de sus gobernantes por un régimen satélite, sino que incluso podrían terminar siendo más nocivas para la economía europea (en especial la de Alemania que depende del Gas ruso) que para la estabilidad del régimen, el cual muy posiblemente haya decidido asumir las dificultades económicas que se le avecinan, como un mal menor frente al enorme logro para sus ansias imperiales, que representa la ocupación de Ucrania frente a la impotencia del mundo occidental.
Para muchas personas esto es un conflicto que busca delimitar las respectivas zonas de influencia entre EEUU y Rusia, quienes son las dos máximas potencias militares del planeta, a lo cual yo le agregaría también que es una maniobra rusa para recuperar influencia mundial y no quedarse totalmente relegada por China, ya que, económicamente está muy lejos de poder equipararse a la potencia asiática. Pero más allá de eso, lo veo como un enfrentamiento entre la democracia occidental y el totalitarismo oriental, encarnado en este momento por Rusia, pero apoyado directa o indirectamente por China, Irán, Corea del Norte... Por lo tanto, creo que los ciudadanos demócratas del mundo, deberíamos tomar conciencia de esto y entender que los regímenes totalitarios en su conjunto, son una amenaza a la que se debe combatir (ojo no me refiero a que deba iniciarse una tercera guerra mundial), pero sí a que se estudien todas las formas posibles en las que se pueda frenar e incluso reducir progresivamente la influencia de las tiranías en el mundo.

However, in my humble opinion, everything seems to indicate that Europe, for fear of unleashing a conflict of incalculable proportions in its own territory, is not going to do more than impose economic sanctions, but it is not going to get involved in a military offensive that it could hypothetically propose USA, since Ukraine is not part of the organization and although it may sound ugly, its reduced importance does not compensate for the enormous risk that confronting Russia would mean.
Putin has known all this very well for a long time, therefore, it is logical that he has been planning this invasion and preparing at least since 2014 to cope with those economic sanctions that will be imposed on the Slavic country because of such a violation of sovereignty. ukrainian Consequently, the sanctions could not only be inefficient in their objective of preventing the annexation of Ukraine to Russian territory or the replacement of its rulers by a satellite regime, but they could even end up being more harmful to the European economy (especially that of Germany, which depends on Russian gas) than for the stability of the regime, which very possibly has decided to assume the economic difficulties that lie ahead, as a lesser evil compared to the enormous achievement for its imperial desires, which represents the occupation of Ukraine against the impotence of the western world.
For many people, this is a conflict that seeks to delimit the respective zones of influence between the US and Russia, who are the two greatest military powers on the planet, to which I would also add that it is a Russian maneuver to regain world influence and not remain totally relegated by China, since economically it is far from being able to match the Asian power. But beyond that, I see it as a confrontation between Western democracy and Eastern totalitarianism, embodied at the moment by Russia, but supported directly or indirectly by China, Iran, North Korea... So I think the Democratic citizens of the world, we should be aware of this and understand that totalitarian regimes as a whole are a threat that must be combated (I'm not referring to a third world war being started), but that they be studied all possible ways in which the influence of tyrannies in the world can be stopped and even progressively reduced.
Digo esto, pues opino que no es suficiente que el mundo occidental solo se limite a expresar rechazo y lamentarse cuando ocurren cosas como el fin de la democracia en Hong Kong a manos de China en 2021 o la anexión de Crimea por parte de Rusia en 2014, es necesario que se actúe con verdadera firmeza y unidad, en principio desde los gobiernos de nuestros países, pero también es muy importante que los ciudadanos le demos a esto la importancia que requiere y lo interioricemos como un peligro para nuestro bienestar en el futuro, ya que gracias a las ideas izquierdistas que últimamente se han vuelto una especie de pandemia ideológica paralela a la del COVIC-19, algunas personas que viven en democracia, llegan a defender e incluso añorar el avance de las potencias dictatoriales sobre las naciones occidentales, solo por oponerse irracionalmente al supuesto imperio estadounidense y al libre mercado que tanto les molesta a algunos.
Los países que conforman el llamado mundo occidental por supuesto que no son perfectos, pero han alcanzado niveles de respeto a los derechos humanos y las libertades individuales, que solo son un sueño en otras partes del mundo; ese es un bien que debería ser extremadamente apreciado y defendido por todos nosotros. De modo que deberíamos estar dispuestos incluso a realizar grandes sacrificios si es necesario, con tal de mantener esos logros, me refiero a que si lo que hace falta es que el mundo establezca un bloqueo comercial total contra Rusia, China, Irán... deberíamos estar dispuesto a ello, siempre que hayamos determinado previamente que una medida como esa es la adecuada para impedir que estos países se conviertan en un riesgo mayor para la continuidad de la libertad en nuestros países y exporten su sistema totalitario a países como los latinoamericanos, donde cada día logran mayor control.
Lamentablemente la democracia tiene como desventaja que es muy complicado llegar a acuerdos entre un gran número de países independientes y con tendencias políticas diferentes, por lo que eso es aprovechado por los adversarios para crear divisiones y avanzar gracias a ellas. Creo que la estrategia de Putin de establecer diálogos solo con EEUU y relegar a Europa alegando que ese grupo de países están subordinados al supuesto imperio norteamericano, pretende crear intriga entre las diferentes naciones involucradas, haciendo que las poblaciones que eligen a esos diferentes gobernantes europeos, sientan que se está ninguneando a sus naciones y exijan que sus líderes dejen de apoyar cualquier acción encabezada por EEUU que es quien posee el mayor poder militar.
¿Qué opinas? ¿crees que luego de apoderarse de Ucrania Rusia simplemente se conformará con eso y no intentará continuar estableciendo gobiernos títeres en los países que pertenecieron antes a la URSS? ¿Crees que incluso pueda intentar ampliar su grado de influencia en regiones como Latinoamérica mediante el apoyo a regímenes dictatoriales? ¿crees que esto deba ser tolerado por el mundo occidental en aras de mantener la paz mundial? The countries that make up the so-called Western world of course are not perfect, but they have reached levels of respect for human rights and individual freedoms, which are only a dream in other parts of the world; that is a good that should be extremely appreciated and defended by all of us. So we should be willing to even make huge sacrifices if necessary, in order to maintain those gains, I mean if what is needed is for the world to put in place a total trade blockade against Russia, China, Iran... we should be willing to do so, as long as we have previously determined that such a measure is adequate to prevent these countries from becoming a greater risk to the continuity of freedom in our countries and from exporting their totalitarian system to countries such as Latin America, where Every day they gain more control.
Unfortunately, democracy has the disadvantage that it is very difficult to reach agreements between a large number of independent countries and with different political tendencies, so that is used by the adversaries to create divisions and advance thanks to them. I believe that Putin's strategy of establishing dialogues only with the United States and relegating Europe, alleging that this group of countries are subordinate to the supposed North American empire, intends to create intrigue between the different nations involved, causing the populations that elect these different European rulers, feel that their nations are being neglected and demand that their leaders stop supporting any action led by the US, which has the greatest military power.
