The Surfboard Maker (ENG/ESP)

The sky wasn't so clear looking more gray than blue, the sea looked calm, matching the colour of the sky and there was no one around the sea at that moment. It was the perfect time for Logan to try out his newly created surfboard. He had always been the shy surfer who was excellent with his surfing skills.

This day, he made the latest surfboard and he wasn't so sure about how much better it would work because he added a feature that no other surfboard had, even the ones he had created before. He got on the surfboard with some confidence he had left after looking round to confirm that no one was watching him.

Logan surfed through the sea, the waves couldn't get to him anyway. He kept confirming over and over that he had made a super surfboard that would win competitions of both locals and nationals. He had the perfect person to gift it to after test running it.

Just immediately as Logan was about to get off his newly made surfboard on land, he found a good number of people watching him quietly but began to cheer happily when he landed. They had been watching him all the while he was surfing like a super surfer man.

He got ashamed and proud within for some reasons, he had not imagined he could have lots of people cheer for him the way they did. It was even more memorable to him that they were all strangers who loved his surfing skills and his new surfboard, his family never liked his skills.

Logan felt a desire to take his surfing skill to the next level, not as a competitor himself but as a surf coach. He had always loved a little boy who lived close by, the boy had amazing surfing skills even though his parents had no money to get a good surfboard for him.

Logan had been finding ways to create a special surfboard for the little boy and he finally did, he went to visit the boy and gave it to him with a request to be his coach which the little boy happily agreed to. They became awesome student and coach, Logan watched the boy grow to become an expert with surfing.

They won so many competitions and every competition they went to, Logan would create a new surfboard for his student and this made the boy stands out in the competitions. Logan became the popular surfboard maker and his student became a surf man that changed the history of surfing in their country.

Logan's family was so proud of him for proving them wrong, he also got international contracts to create surfboards for sales which got him super rich and popular. His fame around the world kept growing by every surfboard he made.

He thought back to when he made his first super surfboard, his favourite atmosphere where the sky and sea were same, the cheers he got from the unknown crowd and his decision to do away with fear. He made it as the world's best surfboard maker.

El cielo no estaba tan claro luciendo más gris que azul, el mar lucía en calma, igualando el color del cielo y no había nadie alrededor del mar en ese momento. Era el momento perfecto para que Logan probara su tabla de surf recién creada. Siempre había sido el surfista tímido que era excelente con sus habilidades para surfear.

Este día, hizo la última tabla de surf y no estaba seguro de si funcionaría mucho mejor porque agregó una característica que ninguna otra tabla de surf tenía, incluso las que había creado antes. Se subió a la tabla de surf con la confianza que le quedaba después de mirar a su alrededor para confirmar que nadie lo miraba.

Logan navegó por el mar, las olas no podían llegar a él de todos modos. No dejaba de confirmar una y otra vez que había fabricado una súper tabla de surf que ganaría competencias tanto locales como nacionales. Tenía a la persona perfecta para regalárselo después de probarlo.

Inmediatamente cuando Logan estaba a punto de bajarse de su tabla de surf recién hecha en tierra, se encontró con un buen número de personas observándolo en silencio, pero comenzó a vitorear felizmente cuando aterrizó. Lo habían estado observando todo el tiempo mientras surfeaba como un súper surfista.

Se avergonzaba y se enorgullecía internamente por algunas razones, no había imaginado que podría tener mucha gente alentándolo de la forma en que lo hicieron. Fue aún más memorable para él que todos eran extraños que amaban sus habilidades para surfear y su nueva tabla de surf, a su familia nunca le gustaron sus habilidades.

Logan sintió el deseo de llevar sus habilidades de surf al siguiente nivel, no como competidor sino como entrenador de surf. Siempre había amado a un niño pequeño que vivía cerca, el niño tenía increíbles habilidades para surfear a pesar de que sus padres no tenían dinero para comprarle una buena tabla de surf.

Logan había estado buscando formas de crear una tabla de surf especial para el niño pequeño y finalmente lo hizo, fue a visitar al niño y se la dio con una solicitud para ser su entrenador, a lo que el niño accedió felizmente. Se convirtieron en increíbles estudiantes y entrenadores, Logan vio crecer al niño hasta convertirse en un experto en surf.

Ganaron tantas competencias y en cada competencia a la que asistían, Logan creaba una nueva tabla de surf para su alumno y esto hacía que el niño se destacara en las competencias. Logan se convirtió en el popular fabricante de tablas de surf y su alumno se convirtió en un hombre de surf que cambió la historia del surf en su país.

La familia de Logan estaba tan orgullosa de él por demostrar que estaban equivocados, que también obtuvo contratos internacionales para crear tablas de surf para vender, lo que lo hizo súper rico y popular. Su fama en todo el mundo siguió creciendo con cada tabla de surf que fabricaba.

Pensó en cuando hizo su primera súper tabla de surf, su atmósfera favorita donde el cielo y el mar eran iguales, los aplausos que recibió de la multitud desconocida y su decisión de acabar con el miedo. Lo hizo como el mejor fabricante de tablas de surf del mundo.
