Taking advantage that it is Sunday and to disconnect a little I decided to see the Uncharted movie, I would like to make a small review talking in general lines of the film without making spoilers. I'll tell you that the movie is enjoyable if you like action movies and Indiana Jones type movies, let's say that this movie is a modernized version of Indiana Jones. It won't change your life, but it is entertaining to watch on a Sunday afternoon when you have nothing to do.
Let's start with the good part, if you are a fan of the video game Uncharted it is obvious that you will enjoy the movie, it is as if it were the plot of another installment of the video game, but somewhat more summarized. If you do not know the video game as I said above is a version of Indiana Jones updated to modern times, but with the typical situations of this type of film, where you have to track many clues after a treasure with a script full of betrayals and great friendships that are formed along the way.
The bad part for me was undoubtedly the actor chosen to play the role of Nathan Drake, I have nothing against Tom Holland but for me he will always be Spider-Man and I find it very difficult to see him as Nathan Drake. In addition, it does not help much that in the latest installments of the video game Nathan is already of a certain age that would be more in line with the actor who played Victor Sullivan, I understand that in the film they wanted to start from scratch with a younger Nathan Drake, but Holland really does not fit that role, for me it is and always will be Spider-Man.
In the end if you can beat the actor chosen for the lead role you will surely enjoy the movie much more than I did, otherwise as in my case you will find it a decent movie to have a good time but it will not be anything remarkable. I still recommend watching it, it's almost two hours of good entertainment and the special effects are decent which helps to get into the plot. Needless to say that if you are a fan of the videogame is mandatory viewing as you will enjoy every detail, although its ending will not surprise you as it honors the endings in the videogames of the saga.

Aprovechando que es domingo y para desconectarme un poco decidí ver la película de Uncharted, me gustaría hacerle una pequeña reseña hablando en líneas generales de la película sin hacer spoilers. Te adelanto que la película es disfrutable si te gusta el cine de acción y las películas tipo Indiana Jones, digamos que esta película viene a ser una versión modernizada de Indiana Jones. No te cambiará la vida, pero está entretenida de ver un domingo por la tarde cuando no tienes nada que hacer.
Empecemos por la parte buena, si eres fan del videojuego Uncharted es obvio que vas disfrutar de la película, es como si fuera la trama de una entrega más del videojuego, pero algo más resumida. Si no conoces el videojuego como dije arriba es una versión de Indiana Jones actualizada a los tiempos modernos, pero con las típicas situaciones de este tipo de películas, donde hay que rastrear muchísimas pistas tras un tesoro con un guion lleno de traiciones y grandes amistades que se van formando en el camino.
La parte mala para mi sin duda alguna fue el actor escogido para hacer el papel de Nathan Drake, no tengo nada en contra de Tom Holland pero para mí él siempre será Spider-Man y me cuesta muchísimo verlo como Nathan Drake. Además, tampoco ayuda mucho que en las últimas entregas del videojuego Nathan ya tiene cierta edad que iría más acorde que el actor que interpretó a Victor Sullivan, entiendo que en la película quisieron empezar desde cero con un Nathan Drake más joven, pero de verdad que Holland no le encaja ese papel, para mi es y siempre será Spider-Man.
Al final si puedes superar al actor escogido para el papel principal seguro disfrutarás muchísimo más de la película que yo, de lo contrario como es mi caso te va parecer una película decente para pasar un rato agradable pero no será nada destacable. Igual recomiendo verla, son casi dos horas de buen entretenimiento y los efectos especiales están decentes lo cual ayuda a meterse en la trama. De más está decir que si eres fan del videojuego es obligatorio su visionado ya que disfrutarás muchísimo de cada detalle, aunque su final no te sorprenderá ya que hace honor a los finales en los videojuegos de la saga.

no la he visto, pero había leído bastante que los fans del videojuego se sentirían decepcionados con la película. Igualmente pienso que Tom Holland no está para el papel de Nathan, y exactamente Mark Whalberg originalmente interpretaría ese papel, no se porque el cambio, supongo quisieron aprovechar el auge de Tom por Spiderman.
I have played this game before. Didnt know there was a movie. I don't really catch up on whats new on tv or theaters anymore. Gave that up along time ago with the video games.
The trailer looks... okay. I saw spiderman though. Sorta. Couldn't keep attention through all of it. It was ok.
