Willkommen zu einem weiteren Backpacking-Abenteuer mit Ihrem Reisekumpel @uwanderer.
Wir werden zusammen im Herzen von North Cotabato unterwegs sein, wo die atemberaubende Aussicht und die bezaubernde Schönheit der Asik-Asik Falls.
Einblicke über Asik-Asik Falls (Small Sprout Falls).
Er befindet sich in Brgy. Upper Dado Alamada. Von der Hauptstraße Alamada. Es dauert eine Stunde mit dem Motorrad, um die Brgy. Lower Dado zu erreichen. Und von der Brgy. Lower Dado wird die asphaltierte Straße und als Aufstieg der Brgy. Upper Dado Alamada ist tückischer wegen seiner ungepflasterten Straße. Wenn Sie die Brgy. Upper Dado Alamada hinauffahren, werden Sie vielleicht langsam die Wolken küssen, besonders am frühen Morgen, wenn der Morgen von den Gebirgsketten von North Cotabato herunterkommt.
Wenn Sie die Brgy. Upper Dado Alamada erreichen, werden Sie von einer kleinen Gemeinde namens Sitio Dulao begrüßt. Es ist eine Gemeinde, die vom indigenen Volk der Manobo verwaltet und regiert wird. Die Vorväter der indigenen Völker in Mindanao.
Die Asik-Asik-Wasserfälle befinden sich an den äußeren Hängen des Mount Ragang oder besser bekannt als Mount Piapayungan, einem aktiven Staatsvulkan, der sich an der Grenze zwischen North Cotabato und Lanao del Norte und Lanao del Sur befindet.
Der Asik-Asik-Wasserfall ist eine 60 Meter hohe und ca. 140 Meter breite Wand, die mit einer üppigen Vegetation aus frischen grünen Farnen und Moos bewachsen ist. Sein kaltes Wasser fließt in die Wasserscheide des Baches in der Brgy. Lower Dado Alamada als deren Hauptwasserquelle, bevor es in den Great Alamada River fließt.
Um von der Hauptstraße in Central Alamada zu den Asik-Asik-Wasserfällen zu gelangen, benötigen Sie etwa 3-4 Stunden mit dem Motorrad. Es kann auch länger werden, besonders wenn Regenzeit ist.
Die erste Stunde ist ruhig, da die Motorradfahrt über eine asphaltierte Straße führt. Aber in den verbleibenden zwei Stunden wird die Fahrt zur Brgy. Upper Dado Alamada zu einem knallharten Abenteuer.
Bei der Ankunft an den Asik-Asik-Fällen. Der Häuptling wird Sie mit einem breiten Lächeln und einem warmen Händedruck begrüßen, besonders wenn Sie die schlammige und regnerische Straße während der Regenzeit überwunden haben.
Es wäre unmöglich, mit dem Motorrad nicht zu stolpern, da der rote Lehmboden das Manövrieren mit dem Motorrad erschwert.
Einige blaue Flecken haben wir uns bei der Überwindung der Asik-Asik-Wasserfälle geholt. Zum Glück war es nicht so schlimm, denn wir sind einen halben Tag vom nächsten Krankenhauszentrum im Zentrum von Alamada entfernt.
Der Häuptling bietet uns traditionsgemäß einen mit Mais gebrühten Kaffee als herzliches Willkommen in ihrer Gemeinde an.
Der Häuptling erzählt uns kurz von der Bedeutung der Wasserfälle in ihrer Gemeinde und wie ihre Vorfahren die Schönheit der Wasserfälle beschützt und bewahrt haben.
Der Häuptling ruft seine Kinder, um uns beim Abstieg zu den Wasserfällen zu helfen.
Von der kleinen Gemeinde bis zur Steintreppe werden wir etwa 30-40 Minuten brauchen, je nachdem, wie schnell wir gehen.
Während wir zur Steintreppe wandern, werden wir von wunderschönen Aussichten auf Täler und Graslandschaften empfangen.
Wenn wir Glück haben, können wir im nahe gelegenen Wald einige philippinische Hirsche und Affen sehen.
Wenn wir die Steintreppe erreichen. Auf dem Weg zu den Wasserfällen müssen wir die 376 Steinplatten meistern.

Bienvenido a otra aventura mochilera con tu compañero de viaje @uwanderer.
Viajaremos juntos al corazón de Cotabato del Norte, donde las impresionantes vistas y la encantadora belleza de las cataratas Asik-Asik.

En la parte alta de Dado Alamada, se pueden besar lentamente las nubes, sobre todo a primera hora de la mañana, cuando la mañana baja de las cordilleras de Cotabato del Norte.
Al llegar a la zona de Brgy. En la parte superior de Dado Alamada, le recibirá una pequeña comunidad llamada Sitio Dulao. Es una comunidad administrada y gobernada por los indígenas Manobo. Los antepasados de los pueblos indígenas de Mindanao.
Las cascadas de Asik-Asik se encuentran en las laderas exteriores del monte Ragang o más conocido como monte Piapayungan, un volcán estatal activo situado en la frontera entre Cotabato del Norte y Lanao del Norte y Lanao del Sur.
La cascada de Asik-Asik es una pared de 60 metros de altura y unos 140 metros de ancho cubierta de una exuberante vegetación de helechos verdes y musgo. Sus aguas frías desembocan en la cuenca del arroyo de Brgy. El Bajo Dado Alamada como su principal fuente de agua antes de desembocar en el Gran Río Alamada.
Para llegar desde la carretera principal de Alamada Central a las cataratas de Asik-Asik, se tarda unas 3-4 horas en moto. También puede ser más largo, sobre todo si es temporada de lluvias.
La primera hora es tranquila, ya que el viaje en moto se realiza por una carretera asfaltada. Pero en las dos horas restantes, el viaje a Brgy. El Alto Dado Alamada se convierte en una aventura de mal gusto.
Al llegar a las cataratas de Asik Asik. El jefe le recibirá con una gran sonrisa y un cálido apretón de manos, especialmente si ha desafiado el camino embarrado y lluvioso durante la temporada de lluvias.
Sería imposible no tropezar con la moto, ya que el suelo de arcilla roja dificulta las maniobras con la moto.
Nos hicimos unos cuantos moratones al sortear las cascadas de Asik-Asik. Por suerte no fue tan grave ya que estamos a medio día del centro hospitalario más cercano en el centro de Alamada.
El jefe nos ofrece tradicionalmente un café elaborado con maíz como cálida bienvenida a su comunidad.
El jefe nos habla brevemente de la importancia de las cascadas en su comunidad y de cómo sus antepasados protegían y preservaban la belleza de las cascadas.
El jefe llama a sus hijos para que nos ayuden a bajar a las cataratas.
Tardaremos unos 30-40 minutos desde la pequeña comunidad hasta las escaleras de piedra, dependiendo de lo rápido que caminemos.
Mientras caminamos hacia la escalera de piedra, nos recibirán hermosas vistas de valles y praderas.
Si tenemos suerte, es posible que veamos algunos ciervos y monos filipinos en el bosque cercano.
Al llegar a las escaleras de piedra. Tenemos que dominar las 376 losas de piedra en nuestro camino hacia las cascadas.
Puede que la bajada sea larga, pero cuando llegue a la base de la cascada, quedará bajo un hechizo mágico, encantado por la belleza y el paisaje.

Welcome to another backpacking adventure with your travel companion @uwanderer.
We will travel together to the heart of North Cotabato, where the breathtaking views and enchanting beauty of Asik-Asik Falls.
Information about Asik-Asik Falls (little bud falls).
It is located in Brgy. High Given Alamada. From the main road Alamada. It takes one hour by motorcycle to reach Brgy. Lower Dado. And from Brgy. The Lower Dado will be the paved road and ascend to Brgy. The Upper Dado Alamada is more treacherous due to its unpaved road. If you are going up the Brgy. Dado Alamada High, you can slowly kiss the clouds, especially early in the morning when the morning comes down from the North Cotabato ranges.
Upon reaching the Brgy. At the top of Dado Alamada, you will be greeted by a small community called Sitio Dulao. It is a community administered and governed by the Manobo Indians. The ancestors of the indigenous peoples of Mindanao.
Asik-Asik waterfalls are located on the outer slopes of Mt. Ragang or better known as Mt. Piapayungan, an active state volcano located at the border between North Cotabato and Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur.

It would be impossible not to trip on the bike, as the red clay soil makes it difficult to maneuver the bike.
We got a few bruises while negotiating the Asik-Asik waterfalls. Luckily it wasn't too bad as we are half a day away from the nearest hospital center in the center of Alamada.
The chief traditionally offers us coffee made from corn as a warm welcome to his community.
The chief briefly tells us about the importance of the waterfalls in his community and how his ancestors protected and preserved the beauty of the waterfalls.
The chief calls his children to help us go down to the falls.
It will take about 30-40 minutes from the small community to the stone stairs, depending on how fast we walk.
As we walk to the stone stairs, we will be greeted by beautiful views of valleys and meadows.
If we are lucky, we may see some deer and Philippine monkeys in the nearby forest.

Its cold water is refreshing and soothing. A great reward after a long and steep descent from the slab road to the falls.

We stayed a couple of hours before returning to the community and expressing our gratitude to the chief and his family.
Truly, it was an experience of a special kind. A unique encounter with nature.
