Hier ist wieder einmal @uwanderer. Ich bin hier, um euch ein weiteres spaßiges Abenteuer zu bieten.
Erlauben Sie mir, Sie auf eine der kleinen und versteckten, geschätzten Inseln zu bringen, die mit malerischen Orten und Szenen gefüllt sind. Diese kleine Insel heißt Carabao Island. Diese Insel ist nur eine Stunde von der weltbekannten Insel Boracay entfernt.
Es gibt einige der besten Plätze auf Carabao Island, aber wir werden uns mehr auf die Klippensprungplätze auf der Insel konzentrieren.
Ja, Sie haben richtig gehört, Cliff Jumping Site. Wir werden von der Klippe springen. Und ich bin sicher, Sie sind auch aufgeregt, dass man zu erleben.
Fun Fact über die Insel
Carabao Island ist die kleinste Inselgruppe unter der Inselgruppe der Provinz Romblon. Der Aetas-Stamm (indigenes Volk), die ersten Siedler der Insel, nannten sie hambil (Carabao) Island. Während der spanischen Kolonialzeit war die Insel mit Wasserbüffeln (Carabao) bevölkert, weshalb die Spanier sie Isla de Carabao nannten.
Ein weiterer Grund, warum die Insel Carabao genannt wird, zeigt sich in der Topographie der Insel, die einen schlafenden Carabao abbildet.
Ich hoffe, Sie haben einen historischen Hintergrund der Insel. Lassen Sie uns nun zu unserer Reise auf die Insel aufbrechen.
Um die herrliche Insel zu erreichen. Wir müssen zum Tabon BayBay Port fahren, einem der zugänglichen Häfen in Caticlan. Die Bootsfahrt zur Insel Carabao dauert eine Stunde, wenn das Wetter gut ist, oder mehr, wenn das Wetter unfreundlich ist. Die beste Jahreszeit für einen Besuch der Insel ist Februar bis Mai. Juni und Januar ist Regenzeit und die Wellen sind enorm und die Fahrt ist ziemlich schwierig. Ich empfehle sehr, die Insel während der Trockenzeit zu besuchen, um die blaue Sonne, das blaue, türkisfarbene Wasser und die sanfte Brise des Ozeanwindes zu genießen.
Sobald wir auf der Insel angekommen sind, werden wir von erstaunlich kristallklarem Wasser und pudrigem Sand begrüßt. Und die Strandfront ist mit Kokosnussbäumen gefüllt. Ein wahres Paradies.
Als wir von der Fähre aussteigen, suchen wir uns ein Leihfahrrad und der Fahrer wird unser Reiseleiter sein. Der Preis für die Tagestour beträgt 1000 Pesos, aber wir werden uns nur auf zwei Stellen konzentrieren, was 500 Pesos ausmacht.
Wir werden zwei Klippentauchplätze besuchen und zwar das Konding-Konding und die Kathedralenhöhle. Wir werden etwa anderthalb Stunden brauchen, um zum Konding-Konding-Klippentauchplatz zu gelangen. Unser Guide brachte uns zu diesem Ort, aber leider ist das Tauchen aufgrund des starken Windes und der Wellen nicht möglich, da die Regenzeit bevorsteht.
Wir waren ein bisschen enttäuscht, aber wir lassen uns nicht unterkriegen. Wir machten ein paar Fotos und fuhren zurück zum nächsten Klippensprungplatz, der Kathedralenhöhle.
Wir brauchten eine Stunde, um die Kathedralenhöhle zu erreichen und es war wirklich ein lohnender Ort. Ein großartiger Ort, der einen Besuch und eine Erkundung wert ist.
Wir ruhten uns ein wenig aus und begannen den besten Teil der Reise. Um Ihnen einen besseren Überblick zu geben, sehen Sie bitte die Fotos unten.
Die Tauchstelle ist bereits mit Holz eingerichtet. Es gibt zwei Sprungplätze, zum einen das 18 Stockwerke (59,4 Meter) und 16 Stockwerke (52,8 Meter) hohe Sprungbrett.
Die Tiefe um das Tauchen ist etwa 24 Fuß. Das ist perfekt für lange Klippensprünge.
Wir blieben in der Klippe springen Bereich für ein paar Stunden dann gehen Sie zurück zum Strand Linie, um ein schnelles Schwimmen und Fotos zu nehmen.
Und dann nahmen wir die letzte Fähre zurück nach Caticlan.

This is @uwanderer once again. I am here to provide you another fun-filled adventure.
Allow me to take you one of the small and hidden treasured island filled with picturesque sites and scenes. This little island is called Carabao Island. This island is one hour away from the world known boracay island.
There are few best sites of carabao island but we will be focusing more on the cliff jumping sites in the island.
Yes, you heard me right cliff jumping site. We will jump from the cliff. And I'm sure you are also excited to experience that one too.
Fun Fact about the Island
Carabao Island is the smallest group of island under the Romblon Province group of islands. The Aetas Tribe (Indigenous People) who are first settlers of the island called it hambil (Carabao) Island. During the Spanish colonial time the island is filled with water buffalo (Carabao) which is why the Spanish called is Isla de Carabao.
Another reason why the island is called Carabao depicts on the topography of the island as it portrays a sleeping Carabao.
I hope you got a historical background of the island. Now let's head to our journey to the island.
In order to reach the magnificent island. We must head to the Tabon BayBay Port one of the accessible ports in caticlan. The boat ride heading to Carabao Island will take us an hour if the weather is good or more if the weather is unkind. Best season to visit the island is February to May. June and January is rainy season and the waves are enormous and sailing is quite difficult. I highly recommend to visit the island during dry season to enjoy the blue sun, blue turquoise water, and gentle breeze of the ocean wind.
As soon as we arrived the island, we will be greeted by amazing crystal clear water and powdery sand. And the beach front is filled with coconut trees. Such a paradise indeed.
As we disembark the ferry boat we will be looking for a bicycle for rent and the driver will be our tour guide. The range for the day tour is 1000 pesos but we will be focusing on two spots only which makes it 500 pesos.
We will be visiting two cliff diving site and that is the konding-konding and the cathedral cave. It will take us around an hour and half to reach konding-konding cliff diving site. Our guide took us to the site but sadly due to the strong wind and waves diving is not possible as the rainy season is coming forth.
We were a bit disappointed but we never succumb to it. We took a few pictures and head back to the next cliff jumping site which is the cathedral cave.
It took us an hour to reach the cathedral cave and truly it was a rewarding site. A magnificent place worth visiting and exploring.
We rested for a bit and started the best part of the journey. To give you a better scope please see the photos below.
The diving spot is already established with wood. They have two jumping site one is the 18 story (59.4 meters) and 16 story (52.8 meters) high diving board.
The depth around the diving is around 24 feet. Which is perfect for long cliff jump.
We stayed in the cliff jump area for a couple of hours then proceed back to beach line to take a quick swim and photos.
And then we took the last ferry boat back to caticlan.

Salamat @g10a. Oo Maraming ka labaw Jan kasi ito ung partner ng mga aetas na tribu. Ito din ung pambayad nila na hayop kung mayroon ika kasal sa kanilang pamilya. Pagsasaka din kasi ung isa sa mga pinagkakakitaan nila aside sa pangngingisda.
