Also packen wir ein und machen uns auf den Weg in den nördlichen Teil der Provinz Cebu und besuchen die Insel Malapascua.

Einblicke über die Insel Malapascua

Sie ist weltweit als Top-Tauchparadies für Taucher bekannt. Sie ist auch bekannt für ihre Weltklasse-Tauchplätze und puderfeinen Sandstrände. Es ist auch die Heimat des Fuchshais in verschiedenen Größen. Aus diesem Grund ist sie zu einem Hotspot für einheimische und internationale Touristen, Rucksacktouristen und Taucher geworden.

Malapascua Island befindet sich in einer kleinen Stadt in Daan Bantayan. Sie ist fünf Stunden vom Festland der Provinz Cebu entfernt.

Wussten Sie, dass Malapascua von dem spanischen Wort "Mala" (schlecht) "Pascua" (Pasko in Tagalog und Weihnachten in Englisch) kommt. Während der spanischen Reise in Cebu fanden sie die Insel Malapascua. Die spanischen Reisenden dachten, dass es ein sicherer Hafen für sie sei, um Weihnachten zu feiern. Aber sie wussten nicht, dass der Weihnachtsabend, den sie erwarteten, sich als eine stürmische Katastrophe herausstellte, die einen sehr schlechten Eindruck bei den spanischen Reisenden hinterließ.

Um die Insel Malapascua zu erreichen, müssen wir einen Bus vom Cebu North Terminal nehmen, der uns zum New Maya Port bringt (bitte nehmen Sie nicht den Old Maya Port, da dieser weit vom neuen Hafen entfernt ist). Es wird etwa 4 Stunden dauern, bis wir den neuen Maya-Hafen erreichen. In den 4 Stunden Busfahrt werden wir wihh üppigen grünen Bergen in der linken Seite des Busses untergebracht werden, während wir die kühle Brise von der Küstenseite aus dem rechten Teil des Busses genießen werden.

Sobald wir den Hafen von Maya erreicht haben, fahren wir in Richtung Malapascua. Ich empfehle, das Transitboot (öffentlich) zu nehmen und nicht das kleinere Pumpenboot.

Die Bootsfahrt wird etwa eine Stunde dauern. Während des Sommers oder der Saison begleitet meistens eine Schar von Flaschennasen-Delfinen das Boot.

Seefahrer sagen immer, wenn die Delfinschar mit uns reist, sind wir vom Gott des Meeres gesegnet.

Sobald wir die Insel Malapascua erreicht haben, empfängt uns die Strandfront mit einem Pudersandstrand. Und kristallklarem Wasser, perfekt zum Schnorcheln und Schwimmen.

Wir werden den ganzen Nachmittag in den Mike Beach Cottages verbringen.

Este es su amable vagabundo llamado @uwanderer. Los llevaré ahora a uno de los mejores tours de la isla de Cebú.

Así que vamos a empacar y salir a la carretera y el viaje a la parte norte de la provincia de Cebú y visitar la isla de Malapascua.

Información sobre la isla de Malapascua

Es conocida en todo el mundo como el mejor paraíso del submarinismo. También es conocida por su lugar de buceo de categoría mundial y sus playas de arena fina. También es el hogar del tiburón zorro de diferentes tamaños. Por este motivo, se ha convertido en un punto de interés para turistas locales e internacionales, mochileros y buceadores.

La isla de Malapascua está situada en un pequeño pueblo de Daan Bantayan. Está a cinco horas de distancia de la provincia de Cebú.

¿Sabes que Malapascua viene de una palabra española "Mala" (mala) "Pascua" (Pasko en tagalo y Christmas en inglés). Durante el viaje español a Cebú encontraron la isla de Malapascua. El viaje español pensó que era un refugio seguro para celebrar la Navidad. Pero no sabían que la víspera de Navidad que esperaban se convirtió en un desastre tormentoso que dejó una enorme mala impresión a los viajeros españoles.

Para llegar a la isla de Malapascua, tenemos que coger un autobús en la terminal norte de Cebú que nos llevará al Nuevo Puerto Maya, (por favor, no cojas el Antiguo Puerto Maya ya que está lejos del puerto reciente). Nos tomará alrededor de 4 horas para llegar al nuevo puerto maya. En las 4 horas de viaje en autobús estaremos acomodados con exuberantes montañas verdes en el lado izquierdo del autobús, mientras que estaremos disfrutando de la brisa fresca de la costa desde la parte derecha del autobús.

Tan pronto como lleguemos al puerto de Maya, nos dirigiremos a Malapascua. Os animo a coger el barco de tipo tránsito (público) que el barco bomba más pequeño.

Nos llevará alrededor de una hora de viaje en barco. Durante el verano o la temporada, una manada de delfines nariz de botella la mayoría de las veces acompañan el barco.

Los marineros siempre dicen que si la manada de delfines viaja con nosotros estamos bendecidos por la diada del mar.

Una vez que lleguemos a la isla de Malapascua, el frente de la playa nos dará la bienvenida con una playa de arena fina. Y aguas cristalinas perfectas para hacer snorkel y nadar un poco.

Nos quedaremos toda la tarde en las cabañas de Mike Beach.

So let's pack up and hit the road and journey to the northern part of Cebu province and visit the Malapascua Island.

Insights about Malapascua Island

It is known globally as top scuba diving paradise for scuba divers. It is also known for its world class diving venue and powdery sand beaches. It is also home of the Thresher Shark from different sizes. For this reason it become a hot spot both for local and international tourist, backpackers, and divers.

Malapascua Island is situated in a small town in Daan Bantayan. It is a five hour distant from the main land of Cebu province.

Do you know that Malapascua comes from a Spanish word "Mala" (bad) "Pascua" (Pasko in tagalog and Christmas in English). During the Spanish voyage in Cebu they found the island of Malapascua. The spaniard voyage thought it was a safe haven for them to celebrate Christmas. But little did they know the Christmas eve they were expecting to happened turned out to be a stormy disaster which left a huge bad impression to the Spanish voyager.

In order for us to reach Malapascua Island, we need to take a bus from the Cebu North Terminal that will take us to the New Maya Port, (Please don't take the Old Maya Port as they have far from the recent port). It will take us around 4 hours to reach the new maya ports. In the 4 hours bus ride we will be accommodated wihh lush green mountains in the left side of the bus while we will be enjoying the cool breeze from the coastal side from the right part of the bus.

As soon as we reach maya port we will be riding a heading to Malapascua. I do encourage to take the transit type (public) boat than the smaller pump boat.

It will take us around an hour to boat ride. During summer time or season a pod of bottle nose dolphins most of the time accompany the boat.

Sea farers always say if the the pod of dolphins travel with us we are bless by the diety of the sea.

Once we reach the Malapascua Island, the beach front will welcome us with powder sand beach. And crystal clear water perfect for snorkeling and short swimming.

We will be staying our whole afternoon at Mike Beach cottages.
