Hello Blurt Blogger,
or future Raspi Pilots!
The German version with a Pi 4b / 4gb can be found here:

Unboxing Raspberry Pi 4b
Today we have an unboxing of a Raspberry Pi 4b / 8gb.
2 days after I built the Raspberry pi 4 / 4gb, I built the model with 8gb.
But first, some basic information about what's a Raspberry Mini computer:
The Raspberry Pi is a small, clever, UK-built computer that is full of potential. The Raspberry Pi is made using the same technology found in smartphones and is actually designed to help many learn to program, discover how computers work and each build their own fantastic things with it.
It's hard to believe where these Raspis have been used since 2013!
in smarthomes, industry, also a single Raspi is able to operate 4 3D printers, in surveillance systems and soon quasi as a blockchain.
@jacobgadikian, @yehey and Co. start*s an experimental project in which at least 200 Raspi pilots scattered worldwide are being sought. One from the German-speaking area @afrog is already very busy with it and has brought me into Raspi fever in the broadest sense.
Anyway, the whole thing has already awakened something of a Pioneer and Endecker feeling in me! The cool thing is that in the final stage, should it be crowned with success, everyone should be able to actively participate in the blockchain.
Thus, a blockchain would be active on perhaps several hundred nodes and not just on 50-70.
You can find more information about it on @afrog's or @jacobgadikian blog.
But also in the F.A.Q
Raspberry Pi 4 / 8gb
There are countless offers, as a beginner I opted for such a starter kit!
As you can see, it contains everything you need for the assembly!
Even a mini magnetised screwdriver
Let's go!
Believe me, it's really easy peasy to put together!
In my case, there were also building instructions in various languages, but otherwise there are many YT tutorials online, one of which I will include below.
And now comes the tricky part, the installation in the housing. Just pay attention to the openings, straighten them a little and press them in lightly. (it locks into place)
Then just put the lid on,
and the little wonder is ready!
My first assembled
Raspberry Pi4 / 8gb with 2 fans !!!
First, an adhesive paste, which is already supplied,
must be applied to the places described in the description.
It serves as a contact for the double external radiators installed in the cooling fins.
Then the heat sink with the built-in fan is placed on the Raspi and screwed on with the screws supplied.
The instructions tell you where to plug in which cable from the fan. There are 2 options for this: fast and slow.
But now comes the most exciting part!
Does it work? We'll soon see!
First insert the SD card supplied into the slot indicated. Then first plug in all the connections that are needed:
Mouse, keyboard and the supplied HDMI cable from Mini to Normal both in the Pi and to the monitor!
Switch on the monitor already, and only now the power supply for the Pi!!! Relatively quickly, the Pi is already flashed (booted up) and is ready for use!
Then there are a few specifications to be made, an update, etc.
The whole thing took about 30 minutes from assembly to going online.
took about 30 minutes. Completely finished after the update exactly one hour! Sure, if you order the parts separately and still have to make an SD card, a little longer!
Nevertheless, you can be sure that pride will be written all over your face when everything has gone well!
Important info for the experimental project!!!
The images supplied are not needed for the experimental project!
Please have a look at @afrog's post, where he explains how to prepare your SD card for flashing!

I'm really excited to see who will be there,
I've already seen that many have already declared it.
Me and Blurti are looking forward to it!

a little Detail, Mrs. Reiseamateur makes her happy:
here is the Video for building this Raspi:
Herzlichen Dank, lieber Karl, für diesen aufwendigen Post!
Ich werde das alles noch mal in Ruhe lesen.
Servus Werner,
Danke für dein motivierendes Reply!
Könnte es sein das @double-u beabsichtigt auch einen Raspi bald sein eigen nennt?
lg schönes WE 🤠
Na logo! ;-)
Nice! I have a couple Pi3's, three PiZero's and an old, old Pi1, but don't have the Pi4 yet. I hope it's as awesome as I think it'll be!
Please try to install a node on Raspi 3. Jacob told before, it will work too. It would be nice If you give info to the community about your experiences.
Excellent.
