Guten Abend allerseits!
Das Jahr 2022 fing für mich gut an.
Mich hat letzte Woche der Inhaber der Central-Pension in Duisburg-Homberg angeschrieben,
ob ich nicht Lust hätte, meine Kunst in seinem Schaufenster auszustellen.
Es gibt dort Schaufenster, weil dort früher eine alte Apotheke war. Jetzt ist es eine Pension und dort gibt es auch ein Tattoo-Studio.
Ich habe mich natürlich sehr gefreut, denn ich kannte weder die Pension, noch Olli, den Besitzer.
Morgen früh fahre ich hin und bestücke das Fenster.
Olli hat sogar die Presse informiert, das Ganze nennt sich dann "SchauStellung Elke Zaksek".
Ob wirklich eine Zeitung darüber berichtet steht natürlich in den Sternen.
Aber egal, ich freue mich!

My husband and I were on vacation in Uganda and our project came out of that.
We collect money here in Germany and on the blockchains and then help the poor farming families at Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda.
We do all this privately, we are not an association.
We buy solar panels, water tanks, medicines and sometimes we also build a house......(hahaha...)

Bosco is the person in Uganda with whom we work.
Without him we could not do this at all.
Last year he had to move out of his house,
because his landlord demolished the house.
He has three children and only got two small rooms.
We really wanted to help him and his family and that's why we are building the house now.
