No, I am not a nurse.
I live in Germany, my husband and I collect money and help the people in Uganda with it. We have a helper on site.
This all came out of a vacation.

I notice Paypal will be shutting down the method you use to collect donations soon. Do you already have an alternate system ready to replace it?

Hi Jason,
yes that is true, in november they will stop it.
We have the leetchi-donation-page , but paypal was cheeper and easier...

Oh. That's awesome. I hope I can do that sometimes on my own.

And yeah, Germany is also on my travel tour list. Hope I can visit sometime next year.

Everybody can do something for others, even without money....
everybody can give time or help...

Germany is a beautiful country, but also very expensive.
And now the energy-prices are going up higher and higher...many problems....

Exactly. I was at the motherless babies home last week and was almost moved to tears when I thought about certain things. I wondered where I'd have been if perhaps I had lost my parents at a tender age.

Yeah, in terms of beauty, the country is quite beautiful.

I thought the energy crisis was only affecting the UK. That's pretty bad. I heard the issue is lack of tank drivers, is that correct?

The energy crisis affects many countries in Europe.
Yes, there is a shortage of truck drivers in the UK (about 100000).
Other countries have such problems too,
but with the Brexit many foreign drivers have left the UK.
And now they need a work visa, so they prefer to stay in EU.

Honestly, I have a bit of malicious joy.
During the Brexit vote, many didn't go to the polls.
Afterwards, the shock was great and then they bugged us for years with the Brexit negotiations.
I don't think it's possible nowadays,
to cook your own soup.
We are all so globally networked that it is better to work together.
