Please, why do you want to trade your beautiful BLURT for STEEM?
Hi @double-u How are you?
Maybe you don't like my answer.
I got to know the world of cryptocurrencies, due to the economic situation in my country. The salary was not enough to buy food, much less to pay the monthly expenses. In 2017 my husband searched online for how to have an extra income, and that's when he found information about cryptocurrencies. Then he saw a video that talked about steemit, he registered in December and I registered in January 2018, it was a great blessing and it has helped us a lot, our country is going through an unimaginable hyperinflation, our economy is a disaster, the people are not they would believe how everything is here in our country, (example: a minimum wage is less than the cost of 2 kilos of rice).
Here we have 3 exchange that change steem and hives to our local currency which is the bolívar (Bs.) I use only two of those 3 exchange and the first week of each month we have to pay a lot of expenses, as school my oldest daughter ($ 12), internet ($ 7), condo ($ 2), and every Friday I go to the market to buy food. For example: 1 kilo of meat costs 6,200,000.00 Bolívares. (1 $ = 1,861,016.04 Bs) For that I change steem and hive, that's why I changed blurt for steem.
Here in Venezuela we cannot save in bolivars either because every day the bolivar devalues and is worth less, so I try to have some unspent steem or hive, in case of emergency.
All this has been a blessing for us because my husband earns 2 minimum wages per month, that is why I have to change coins. So I power up blurt but sometime I change.
You can look for news about the Venezuelan economy and you will see that I am not exaggerating in prices.
Hi @blessed-girl
ah, thank you very much for your explanation!
I didn't know that you can exchange STEEM and HIVE directly into your national currency.
A minimum wage per hour?
I know about the bad economic situation and inflation in your country.
I wish you the very best!
Yes, thank goodness, I use: https://capybaraexchange.com/
There are all the currencies that can be changed to my local currency, but I only change hives and steem. At the end of last year they taught me how to buy BTC on Binance and I bought some BTC with 400 hives but have them stored there also in case of an emergency.
No, the minimum wage is monthly. A kilo of rice here costs 1,700,000.00 and the minimum monthly salary is 2,400,000.00
Here he talks about the minimum wage in Venezuela and at the end you can see a comparative table with respect to other countries.
