Until the end previous Season, I was mostly playing around 10 Battles per day which was sufficient to complete the Daily Quest. On some days I try to advance to the next League or simply earn more DEC. Yet the incentive for squeezing the best out of my Energy Capture Rate was not there for me. Things have drastically changed with the new changes which you can read here.
Last Time Getting This Type of Rewards
There is already new artwork that make the game more beautiful and I spent the first day trying to get what I can in terms of Rewards. I do like the design of the new look and consider it an improvement.
It is now required of you to wait till the end of 24 hour period to claim your rewards. I think these changes will make the game more compulsive to play while creating a more sustainable distribution of the game rewards. This does not look great for the short term. I barely managed to get 4 Diamond Chests:
The good thing is that as your rating go up, it is possible to earn more Focus Points reaching more Reward Chests per day as the season goes on. This new system rewards perseverance.

It does seem like this Ranked Ratio won't be seen for some time. I have been taking many losses after the recent changes. At least the rewards per chest are getting better offsetting for the other factors.

This was not a Gold Foil Season for me. The good thing is that there is 1.6% Legendary and 4% Gold Foil chance with 48% chance to see a Card in a Diamond Chest. Things could be better in the coming Season.

Not much has changed in this department and Rentals have been giving me consistent liquidity albeit in small amounts. It has been almost a life saver in some occasions.

Unfortunately I had to spend some of these on a Validator Node License. I will likely have to unstake some for Riftwatchers release as well. Other than that, the staking has been going on well.
As time goes on and more users join in, it is getting more difficult to earn more from @splinterlands This means that the game economy is becoming more sustainable and that early adopters got rewarded for being early while earning assets was relatively easy.
