Hello everyone, this is my first post that I write in this community, I hope you like it and enjoy

The Force, as a mystical energy field that gives the Jedi their power. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and holds the Galaxy together.

Over the years we have seen how the Force acquires multiple forms of the most powerful. Sometimes, the power of the Force is such that it reaches planetary reach, and some Star Wars characters have given good account of such power in various publications of the franchise.

Powers that inspire others

Let's start with the powers that, despite their tremendous impact, are more "soft." In Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, we met the power of Bastila Shan, one of the most powerful Jedi Knights of her generation and in galactic history. This power is known as Battle Meditation, and it is able to help coordinate and ignite the courage of allies in the heat of battle. Of course, as a counterpart, the Jedi who uses this power cannot be fighting while she uses it, since she needs to be in meditation.

Without a doubt of the Force powers that are capable of inspiring allies, it is the most interesting. But we cannot overlook the healing of the Force, capable of healing an ally from his wounds in a few moments, albeit at a very intense cost to the Jedi or Sith who uses this power. We have also been able to see Luke Skywalker making use of the Force projection, with which he was able to appear on another planet while he was in Ahch-To. Something we could see in Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.

How to overcome an obstacle?

At other times, there are powers of the force that, despite not necessarily being visual and destructive, require tremendous power to be used, and can also save one's butt at the worst moment. In Star Wars Jedi: Falen Order, for example, we see how Cal Kestis learns to slow down numerous enemies using the Force, allowing the Jedi to slide to dodge attacks and attack enemy weak points.

Another similar Force power is used by Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul at the Battle of Naboo in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It is about concentration, a Force power that allows you to prepare for combat, studying the enemy not only visually, but in terms of the Force, so that the Jedi (or Sith) can take advantage of any loophole to attack.

Finally, within this category we find a power presented in The Clone Wars by Jedi Master Eeth Koth: The Crucitorn. By using this power of the Force, Eeth Koth was able to withstand the tremendous torture that General Grievous subjected him to during the Clone Wars. Koth was able to manipulate his pain threshold to resist the Separatist general's torture. Additionally, this power can be used by swapping roles, changing a prisoner's pain threshold to more easily get information out of him.

Unlimited destruction

Well, let's go to what you most want to read. The powers of the Force with the greatest destructive capacity. We are going to start with a power that, on the surface, may seem one of the least dangerous: The pull through the Force or Force attraction. This power consists in drawing an object through the Force from a distance. It would be a power without special mention in this section if we ignore the video game Star Wars: The Power of the Force, where Starkiller causes an Imperial Star Destroyer to crash using this power. We are talking about a half-kilometer-long ship.

In Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, Emperor Palpatine summons a powerful beam capable of knocking out almost the entire resistance fleet. It's a cool power and such, but a trifle when compared to the Force Storm seen in Dark Empire. With this power, Palpatine was able to decimate fleets and even summon wormholes. He is the only Sith Lord who has been seen using this power, which is a good example of how powerful Palpatine really is.

We also meet Darth Nihilus in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Darth Nihilus acquired the ability to devour all life on a planet through the Force. The Miraluka homeworld, Katarr, is a good example of this power. The Sith Emperor, Lord Vitiate, also made use of this power in Star Wars: The Old Republic, snatching all life from the imperial planet of Ziost.

And to finish we return to Star Wars episode VIII: The Last Jedi to remember the scene with Grand Master Yoda, who even as a ghost lost his tremendous power. Yoda was able to control the elements in the film to launch lightning on Ahch-To's Jedi temple as he gave Luke Skywalker a band-aid of humility.

Of course, there are beastly Force powers in Star Wars. So I ask you again. Are you going to the dark side of the force with me?
