Escape From Tarkov - Waiting for Arena

Going to be playing some Tarkov today, maybe some friends will join me, maybe I will end up running solo. I have really been enjoying this game for its immersive realism. The cheaters are still around but slowly becoming less of an issue, 1 raid a day or so you will run into a cheater, but they are rarely a high level so it seems they do not make it very far these days.

What Quests am I Working on?

Lighthouse and Reserve are 2 maps I need to focus on.

The Rogues on Lighthouse and the Raiders on Reserve specifically. I need to kill a large amount, so it will probably be a day long grind, with a few other maps thrown in to keep it interesting.

If you comment on the Live Stream I will be much more likely to see it while I'm streaming, ill be checking back on Hive and Blurt later on after I finish the stream. I'm also curious about the any Live Streaming services on the Hive blockchain specifically, if you are using one please do comment about your experience, I am interested.

Game Description

Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore and realistic online first-person action RPG/Simulator with MMO features and a story-driven walkthrough.

With each passing day the situation in the Norvinsk region grows more and more complicated. Incessant warfare in Tarkov has sparked massive panic; the local population has fled the city, but those who stayed are looking to improve their fortunes at the expense of others. Having accepted the new reality, savage Tarkov locals - "Scavs" flocked into well-armed gangs and started the redivision of the city. Nowadays, Tarkov is separated by unseen borders, controlled by different groups. Gain-greedy gunmen would go to any length to have their way, including the murder of civilians and direct confrontation with the two private military companies.

The players will have to experience living in the skin of one of the mercenaries who survived the initial stage of the Tarkov conflict. After choosing one of the sides – USEC or BEAR – the player’s character starts to make his way out of the city. Tarkov is sealed off by UN and Russian military, supply chains are cut, communication with operational command is lost, and in these conditions everyone has to make his own choices of what to do and how to get out of the chaos-ridden metropolis.

Ahhhh, the advantages of not having children - video game marathons!
I love video games, but the last time I had a chance to play one was at least a decade ago. I used to enjoy Battlefield a fair bit.

Once the kid is 13-14 tho you will have a trust worthy teammate unlike any other lol

It will probably be fun to teach them how to play the originals, take you back!

That's true, would be a lot of fun.
I guess most current games will be freeware by then. Hopefully there are still servers and players then!

If there is not servers and players, I will be the host lol I plan on gaming in my retirement too, I used to be more for sports, but honestly I just like the competition, its a fun way to distract yourself from the days stresses while also making your mind work critically and keeping it sharp. If you think Sudoku is good for the brain, just wait until you master a simulator like Age of Empires or Cities Skylines, you will have learned something and sharpened your response time

I liked online gaming (as we called it in the early days) because it brought together the team experience (cooperation) with the competitive format (capture the flag, total elim, etc). I was always the team player... staying alive as much as possible, resupplying everybody around me, spotting enemies, taking the lead as required but generally just bolstering my team. Took a while but I got very good at that. What I hated were the guys who used explosives on the servers where your own damage is reduces to zero... in other words they could basically just blow up the whole area and get blasted to safety, really hard to defend against LOL
