When it comes to brilliant scripting, voice acting and gameplay on the PS1 there isn't much better than Soul Reaver.
This game was part of an era full of great story telling and world building. The dark undertone of Soul Reaver holds betrayal, rebellion and environments drowned in dark supernatural.
Playing as Raziel and pursuing Kain is an iconic part of my gaming journey and despite the age of this game, I can definitely say it holds up to this day. If a remaster was ever made, it would be a day one purchase. If you've not tried this game before, I highly recommend it!
