Saludos a todos los miembros de la comunidad, ¿cómo están? Ha pasado algo de tiempo, no solamente desde que publiqué el último post sino desde la maravillosa plataforma de Epic Store comenzó a regalar juegos gratis que distinta a esas que ofrecen títulos que aunque puede que no sean malos pues no son los preferidos de la comunidad de los videojuegos, tampoco aquellos que se han ganado un lugar dentro del corazón de muchos. En esta oportunidad, están regalando Wolfenstein: The New Order, llevándonos por un mundo lleno de nazis que nosotros debemos erradicar jugando como B.J. Blazkowicz, un héroe de guerra norteamericano que nos hace enamorarnos de todo lo que nos brinda este videojuego de disparos, además de su ambientación que ligada al trasfondo histórico resulta de lo más interesante.
Greetings to all members of the community, how are you? It's been a while, not only since I published the last post but since the wonderful Epic Store platform started giving away free games that are different from those that offer titles that although they may not be bad they are not the favorites of the gaming community, neither those that have earned a place in the hearts of many. This time, they are giving away Wolfenstein: The New Order, taking us through a world full of Nazis that we must eradicate playing as B.J. Blazkowicz, an American war hero that makes us fall in love with everything that this shooter game offers us, in addition to its atmosphere that linked to the historical background is most interesting.
¿A quién no le gustaría acabar con los nazis? Sí, puede que si les tocó un mal profesor de historia al momento de aprender sobre el acontecimiento del holocausto no llame demasiado la atención, pero puede que por las películas de acción y series de televisión que han usado como recurso de inspiración el régimen nazi pues este videojuego no suene tan mal… aunque evidentemente se va a la ciencia ficción, sin que siga al pie de la letra situaciones que salieron de la realidad. La historia que nos presenta ha sido de cualquier manera alabada por la mayoría de las personas que lo han jugado y no podría comentar nada al respecto porque en realidad no lo he jugado, pero viendo los videos de personas jugándolo puedo entender por qué ha gustado, mezclando a esa vieja escuela con una historia entramada y personajes entrañables.
Who wouldn't like to wipe out the Nazis? Yes, maybe if you had a bad history teacher when you were learning about the holocaust, it won't call too much attention, but maybe because of the action movies and TV series that have used the Nazi regime as a source of inspiration, this video game doesn't sound so bad... although it obviously goes to science fiction, without following to the letter situations that came out of reality. The story it presents us with has been praised by most of the people who have played it and I couldn't comment anything about it because I haven't actually played it, but seeing the videos of people playing it I can understand why it has been liked, mixing that old school with a woven story and endearing characters.
Considero que la palabra gratis es demasiado llamativa, pero la realidad es que a muchos no les convence darle una oportunidad a ciertos videojuegos sin verlo, porque no saben si verdaderamente vale la pena jugarlo, y si es así ¿por qué lo agregarían a la biblioteca? Digo, hablando de personas a las que no les gusta tener todos los videojuegos posibles en la biblioteca sin que los vayan a jugar —hablo de mí— pues se ven lindos. El apartado visual no es de lo mejor pero habría que considerar que se fue lanzado en el año 2014 por lo que debería de entenderse sus limitaciones, pero creo que las mecánicas son aceptables y se disfruta como debería el estilo de combate con todo lo implicado dentro de un videojuego de disparos. Acá les voy a dejar por eso un video, en donde pueden apreciar algo del juego para ver si les gusta.
I think the word free is too flashy, but the reality is that many people are not convinced to give a chance to certain video games without seeing it, because they do not know if it is really worth playing it, and if so, why would they add it to their library? I mean, talking about people who don't like to have all the possible videogames in the library without playing them -I'm talking about me- because they look nice. The visuals are not the best but you have to consider that it was released in 2014 so you should understand its limitations, but I think the mechanics are acceptable and the combat style with everything involved in a shooter game is enjoyable as it should be. Here I am going to leave you a video, where you can appreciate some of the game to see if you like it.
