World of Warcraft fans can’t seem to wait for Shadowlands, the next expansion in the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft. According to Blizzard the game has the most amount of pre-orders of all titles in the series. In addition to that Blizzard stated that the player base has doubled ever since the release of World of Warcraft classic, though it’s more than likely the current COVID pandemic also has something to do with it.
Shadowlands was supposed to launch on the 27th of October but got postponed to the 23th of November. Something popular streamer Asmongold criticised during his live stream yesterday. The big issue is WoW classic’s next content release, Naxxramas, is coming out on the 3th of December. Only 10 days after Shadowlands came out.
The popular streamer fears that many players with limited time will have to make a choice “I don’t really see the purpose and I don’t see the benefit of making them choose, why make them choose between getting excited over one game or another?”. To make things worse Shadowlands first raid, Castle Nathria, will get released only 5 days after Nax opens, on the 8th of December.
