Ever since we launched Rising Star back in March our main priority has been to make the game sustainable for the long run.

The first ten months have all been about creating a strong financial base for the game in the form of powering up this account, growing the curation trail and also purchasing miners such as WORKERBEEs to give us regular returns that we can use to grow the game in a steady way (as well as BEE that we need to issue the cards).

Brand New Reward Pool

Today we are pleased to announce the first stage of a brand new reward pool that allows players to get a share of these returns.

The initial daily reward will be a minimum of 20 SWAP.HIVE (but may be more) and will increase steadily over time.
The actual rewards will start to be distributed in January although we may do a few test runs beforehand.

As you can see above there are various ways to increase your rank and therefore your daily rewards with a heavy bias on the true collectors in the game who have the most unique cards.

IM Comes In To Play

You will be glad to see that the IM (Income Modifier) that has been present on the cards since the beginning is now useable in the new ranking formula.

New Limited Edition Gold Cards

For the true Rising Star collectors we have introduced four new limited edition gold cards.

S9 Beethoven

This card is now available when you purchase a 12 pack of cards with HIVE. We have increased the number of packs from 10 to 12 to match the STARBITS equivalent.

S10 Tchaikovsky

Can only be purchased from the market. The first card will be priced at 10 SWAP.HIVE and each subsequent card will increase by 0.5 SWAP.HIVE. Ten cards will be placed on the market each day at random times to give everyone a chance although we won't be waking up in the middle of the night to release any! :P

S11 Bach

Can only be purchased from the market. The first card will be priced at 20,000 STARBITS and each subsequent card will increase by 100 STARBITS. Ten cards will be placed on the market each day.

S12 Brahms

This card is now available when you purchase a 24 pack of cards with HIVE.

We are working on another big update for early next year which we are excited about and we look forward to releasing more information about this in the future.
