Good day guys!
I decided to play with the palm Filter of google photos with all my photos. It's another day and as soon as I woke up I finished writing then got ready for work. I didn't notice the time and I left at around 7:35. I had to pick up my colleague on my way. Driving to work was okay but I jinxed myself if you read about my day yesterday about parking. As soon as I went to the Main gate, here comes the scariest sign wherein the guard said that there was no parking anymore. So I had to drive to the hospital and then dropped my colleague off, and I also timed in. My colleague was kind enough to bring my bag to our department. I then drove to SM City Baguio, because it's the cheapest place to park. You only have to pay 50 Php for the whole day unlike the other parking spots here at Baguio where they charge you per hour. It was really traffic entering the parking lot because they open at 8 am. I was there before 8 so there was a long line. It was such a gloomy day. I'm glad that it didn't rain while I was walking because I didn't bring an umbrella.
I'll be sharing with you my walk going to our workplace. When you're walking down SM you're going to end up at Session Road which is the Central Business District of the City of Baguio.
While walking down, I noticed that there are more people than usual. I also noticed that there were a bunch of people lined up. I think they are lined up because they're going to pay their bills. I'm glad that they still follow social distancing and wearing a face shield and a face mask even the people who are needy. So we have no excuses but to comply.
I noticed that there were enforcers on the street. They were staying there with a sign that says "No Entry". They are actually experimenting with Session road wherein the pedestrian sidewalk on the Left is for people who are going up and the sidewalk on the right is for the people who are going down. So I had to cross the street. As you can see in the third photo below, they painted the ground to direct to the flow of traffic.
I just noticed my photos now, and there were a lot of people who were needy. It wasn't like this when I walked here the last time. I hope the government would see this and help them.
This is Assumption Road, I just have to walk straight up to reach my workplace. I remember during the pre covid days that this place was always full of students rushing to go to class.
This is my alma mater where I got my college degree. I noticed that there was a line going to the gymnasium and I remember that this is one of the vaccination areas here in our City. I think these people who are lined up are going to get vaccinated for COVID-19. I'm just happy that people are starting to get vaccinated. I still think it's better to get vaccinated than to suffer severe COVID-19. I'd rather be vaccinated than intubated.
I finally entered my workplace premises. For some reason, I just love looking at this view. But I also feel bad that there are fewer trees. When I got to our department I was really sweaty. I had to catch my breath. I was also thinking that our work should provide more parking for the employees.
Here's what happened during my day at our workplace. So we were waiting for our doctor to endorse our patients. When our doctor was endorsing the patients, we had a new one who is in the ICU. We were told not to hold the treatment of one of our patients because they couldn't control his Blood pressure even with all the medications that he's taking and told us to treat the patient in the ICU in the afternoon, this patient had a lot of precautions wherein we had to closely monitor the Vital signs during treatment. We already have the go signal to treat one patient but we decided to go there in the afternoon because they are just beside each other in the ICU. We then received a new referral, and we were waiting for our doctor. While waiting we were just reviewing to keep ourselves productive. The doctor didn't go there in the morning. We then ate lunch. After lunch, I helped with the linen then we went up to treat our patient. Patient 1 was new and she was huge. I really felt bad for her because She's still young with the age of below 50. I'm glad that we didn't have trouble with her Vital signs, she was just lethargic during our treatment session. We then went to patient 2 but she just finished eating. We waited for around 30 minutes in the hallway before we started treating her. We were able to treat her. When we went down our doctor didn't see our patient yet. So we were resting while waiting. Our doctor finally came and endorsed our patient, it was around 3:50 already when we were able to go and treat our patient. We usually don't treat at that time. Patient 3 is an old guy who has gout and a lot of tophi. We concentrated on mobilizing him. We were finished treating him. Whenever I see my patient I really feel bad for them, it's also making me realize that I don't like to end up like them in the future.
Finally, our duty was done and we had to walk to SM City Baguio. What I hated about this walk was that I was carrying a lot of things. I was carrying a quad cane, an electric hot pack, my bag, and my umbrella. Thankfully it was just drizzling and not raining hard. My colleague was kind enough to pay for my parking. When I got to the car I was really sweaty because this walk was mostly uphill.
I finally got home, what really sucks about parking there at SM, the walking consumes so much time. I got home at around 6 pm already. I disinfected and ate dinner. After dinner, I was just there on the couch and petting Yoda and Pierre while talking to my girlfriend. Finally, my brother finished using my computer. I transferred to my computer and started using it. Then I slept. I hope that you had a wonderful day!
